Is this part of the blowback over what was perceived as comment critical of Trump by the CEO of Pepsi? Pepsi (last day today) is basically giving away 12-packs of Diet Pepsi and Pepsi Zero. If you live in a Publix supermarket area, they are making this deal available as you can see at this LINK which has links to the printouts of the two sets of coupons you will need---Pepsi coupons and Publix coupons. Combine them and the sodas are FREE. Today is the last day to get them. 4 12-packs total or 48 cans.
Is this a sign that Pepsi realizes the CEO made a mistake and is now trying to make nice with the public with what is basically a giveaway? Remember, those Publix Pepsi coupons are also covered by Pepsi.
Just to keep it clear...
The Pepsi CEO didn’t trash talk Trump. She vomited on social media about how Trump’s win made her employees afraid.
What the idiot did was show that Pepsi’s leadership is fully SJW converged.
The comments of Pepsi CEO Indra Nooyi may explain part of this. After all she was a big Obama booster, but also contributing to the flagging sales of Pepsi is the fiasco of eliminating Aspartame from Diet Pepsi. After the switch Diet Pepsi became undrinkable and sales plummeted. But the snowflakes are happy that Aspartame is no longer in Diet Pepsi... as they wait in line at Starbucks.
What about Pepsi Zero?
According Beverage Digest, I believe sales of Pepsi One actually increased slightly as consumers switched from Diet Pepsi to Pepsi One and, more significantly, to Coke Zero.
Pretty clearly defined stats that show once Pepsi made this switch that Diet Pepsi sales declined sharply while Pepsi One sales increased slightly and Coke Zero and Diet Coke sales increased a bit. However, overall sales of soft drinks have been flat or down slightly as consumers have taken to drinking more non-carbonated drinks.
Yeah, we tend to like Arizona Tea.
Pepsi? ptash!
Best cola is RC Cola, from a fountain, in a smal hurricane glass, with the little square ice cubes. Maybe some fries and gravy ? ? ?
Mrs Hero does not allow sugary drinks “in MY house” anymore.
(”You’re not gonna die and leave me here alone with your mother! Green tea for you.”)
Pepsi is on three of my ban lists - Trump haters, LGBT supporters and abortion. Even free at a company loss, it’s not coming into this house.
Not even if they paid me.
Pepsi has been a major sponsor of abortions in minority communities. Refused to drink Pepsi for years.
FWIW, it should be noted that in this case, the snowflakes may have a point. Aspartame is a known and demonstrated neurotoxin. People consuming it might wish to consider researching the risks of using aspartame.
“No Pepsi....Coke.”
Or it could just be a sale. Way back in my poor days Dr Pepper would include $.30 coupon on the 2 liter bottle labels often. Back then DP was usually $.99 and most of the world did double coupons, but some times it would go on sale for $.79, and often those places would do a month of triple coupons. There were a couple of times when those stars aligned, we called those times “just how much DP can I fit in my apartment”. Then there was the couple of months I lived on Dolly Madison Fruit Pies, they had BOGO coupons in them, and when you used it you of course got 2 more coupons. By the time they stopped the coupons I had a massive stack... I’ve maybe had half a dozen of those things in the intervening quarter of a century, had my fill.
Sales and coupons happen. It’s just life. Especially for soda in winter months when people start drinking more hot beverages.
The best cola I’ve had was in Mexico about 15 years ago.
What is SJW?
Social Justice Warrior(s). The latest, greatest name for Occupoopers (Occupy Wall Street).
Only a cement-headed Liberal could think that the way to get back into the good graces of Conservatives is to give them free sh**.
SJW = Social Justice Warrior.
Leftists. Some say radical leftist or fringe left, but in reality, the SJW and their thuggery are 100% of the leftist platform at this time.
Mexican Coke, made with actual sugar like the real “classic” Coke?
