Fmr Bush counsel: Electoral College cant vote for Trump without proof his businesses dont violate Constitution
The never Trumpers just wont give up their dreams of keeping Donald Trump from the White House.
.
.
.
He needs to comply with the constitution at a bare minimum, Painter, who admitted he didnt support Trump for president, insisted. And recognize the problem and address it.
And if he doesnt do that before the Electoral College meets, he added. I dont think the electoral college can vote for someone to become president if hes going to be in violation of the constitution on day one and hasnt assured us hes not in violation.

That’s BS
What the living hell does this even MEAN??!?
What, Trump's businesses have slaves? They deny proper counsel to criminals? They station troops in people's homes?
Man, Bush was a complete POS, I'm finding out.
Bovine
Scatology
Obama told us he was born a British subject owing to his foreign national father.
It doesn’t matter where he was born.
This guy is a lawyer? Seriously? The clause he is talking about reads...
No Senator or Representative shall, during the Time for which he was elected, be appointed to any civil Office under the Authority of the United States, which shall have been created, or the Emoluments whereof shall have been increased during such time; and no Person holding any Office under the United States, shall be a Member of either House during his Continuance in Office, the clause reads.
I not a lawyer and didn’t go to a fancy Ivy League school, but in plain English it says a Senator or Congressman cannot hold a government position that was created, or had pay raises voted in while in Congress. How on earth can this be construed to apply to a)The President and b) a private company? The TDS is strong in this one!
Point is, he hasn’t provided a valid birth certificate.
That statement alone won’t resolve it legally.
So where’s the document?
Nobody forced him to comply with the very first requirement to be president.
And yet this SnowFlake wants to parse issues far removed from that.
They are high
Did George Washington sell his farm?
Did Thomas Jefferson sell his
farm?
No.
Is this idiot invested in the trafficking of illegals?
being born a British subject precludes being a natural born citizen.
One cannot be born anything else and still be a natural born citizen.
Sheesh.

Just another piece of the deny Trump the Presidency puzzle. Clearly setting up one of the excuses for nevertrump electors to justify their betrayal.
Trump does need to figure out a way to legitimately separate himself from his business. At some point, it will be used against him.
No Title of Nobility shall be granted by the United States: And no Person holding any Office of Profit or Trust under them, shall, without the Consent of the Congress, accept of any present, Emolument, Office, or Title, of any kind whatever, from any King, Prince, or foreign State.
ARTICLE I, SECTION 9, CLAUSE 8
Is this bushie guy retarded ?
Correct.
The framers were business men and farming was their business. They didn’t have give up their businesses. Period.
While I agree with you, once the guy is elected, they will require documentation to prove his status.
No government agency every required that.
Somewhere along the line, before the guy is officially considered a candidate, he should have to be vetted.
The Constitution is very clear about it. He has to be a natural born citizen. Nobody every thought of checking before if there is the slightest chance?
They are getting to be annoying.
Read my lips, NO NEW BUSHES.
Oh, so NOW someone is concerned about the constitution.
Not even a full 15 minutes of fame for this fellow.... A weed in the garden of the shrub family.
