Actor Michael Shannon: Trump was elected by a 'country of moronic a--holes'

Actor Michael Shannon held nothing back about the 2016 presidential election and President-elect Donald Trump while promoting his new film "Nocturnal Animals" in a new interview with Rogerebert.com.

When asked whether he could make sense of how exactly Trump was elected, Shannon had a vitriolic response about Trump's supporters.

"Yeah, I'll tell you how to make sense of it: This country's filled with ignorant jackasses," he said. "The big red dildo running through the middle of our country needs to be annexed to be its own country of moronic a--holes. You can call it the United States of Moronic F---ing A--holes."

Anyone with power on the left has been ordered to act out with rage and abusiveness, in order for the low power liberals to imitate them. Hillary’s goal is to burn the country down with riots.

Why? Because she’s screwed up for the last time, and she’s in danger from the people she took money from. So if she rallies her troops with outrage on her behalf, she keeps them off her back psychologically. Good old Hillary the mind rapist, doing the only thing she understands - raping children.

This guy, however, is an actor, he’s paid to act, and he’s acting. He’s also committing sedition, is a traitor to his country, had lost his soul and will be damned, and should be put up against a wall and shot after a perfunctory trial for treason.

Point is, it’s ALL an act folks. Every single bit of it. And Hillary is behind it all, like a dead snake that can still bite.

I think a lot of these actors had to sleep with someone to get their roles. If that meant homosexual sex, they would do it. I have a feeling that deep down inside they know what they do is wrong, so they try to push their lack of morality on the rest of us to ease their guilt.
If the general public accepts homosexuality, adultery etc, then their conscience is clear.
That is why the whole LGBT was thrown at us, because that is what is most important to the elites. They don't understand the rest of the country who has to worry about putting food on the table.

It's a mystery why the opinions of entertainment folk, who are basically overpaid (or more often starving) vagabond whores, are taken seriously. Shannon is very good at playing crazy, whether it's an obsessed 1920's Treasury agent in Boardwalk Empire or Gen. Zod in the next to last Superman film. Unless he's on camera with a script in his hand no one should pay him any mind at all.

THAT’S what I remember him from!!! He was in that movie with that flying guy that almost put me into a cinematically induced coma!!!

He’s terrible ... he’s the kind of evil that makes you tremble at first, then makes you crack up laughing after you hear him. He invokes the opposite of fear.

On a side note, it’s beyond baffling why they screw with such a simple concept as a superhero that is all for truth, justice, and the American way of life. They choose to make him cranky, egotistical, and flat out difficult to like. They then wonder why nobody wants to go see any Superman film in droves and wonder why the Richard Donner films of the late 70s did well yet their “modern” garbage seems to fall flat.

I get that they have to pander to a world audience these days, but you can keep Superman a “goody two shoes, pro-American” on the world stage and still rake in serious cash ... it involves a process called “writing” that requires “talent”.
