oing into Election Day, liberal voters were nearly certain Hillary Clinton would be the next president of the United States. But then the votes started coming in, leaving liberals in a state of shock and wondering how Republican Donald Trump could possibly win given he was predicted to lose in all the major polls.
Saturday Night Live, with the help of comedic genius Dave Chapelle, imagined what how election night might have gone among white Clinton supporters as they watched the results in real-time. Chris Rock also made a surprise appearance.
At one point, one of the Hillary voters asks, Like, why aren't people turning out for Hillary the way they did for Barack Obama?
I mean, maybe because you're replacing a charismatic 40-year-old black guy with a 70-year-old white woman, Rock responds. That's like the Knicks replacing Patrick Ewing with Neil Patrick Harris.

That's what happens when a generation that gets its news from SNL and The Daily Show takes the MSM polls at face value.
The polling companies did themselves a yuge disservice by gaslighting the polls this time around.

Speaking of schadenfreude, this is a link to a 26-min. compile of election night moments on “The Young Turks,” which is like a video version of DU.
They began the night elated, ended it gnashing teeth and rending garments.
Caution: language most foul.
I think some people are misinterpreting the skit.
Basically, the message was, the cynical, knowing black guys have been around the block (i.e., around the country) more than the naive, clueless white liberals and know that the country is largely racist, contrary to the idealistic white liberals. The black guys laugh at the white women because the women say they can’t get ahead in Trump’s America, where the ‘truth’ of the skit is that black guys are the ones really oppressed.
Then, with typical liberal cognitive dissonance, Chris Rock suggests the liberals would have won if they had nominated someone like Obama (40 year old charismatic black guy) instead of an old white lady, which of course is inconsistent with the cynical black guys mocking and laughing about the white liberals’ naivete that the country is not racist.
The skit was mocking clueless white liberals for being naive about America while calling America racist.
That is good.
That is good.
And Kate McKinnon's "Hillary" was never good. They portrayed Donald as a buffoon with a bad combover, while Hillary was portrayed as a nice-looking blonde lady who looked like the Hillary of 20 years ago. Where was the thunder-thighs fat suit and old-age makeup she should have been wearing?
I hate to gloat, but I am gloating and laughing at just how deranged her supporters are.
That's the only thing funny about it.
Just watched the whole 40 minute clip. Best 40 minutes I’ve ever experienced since I’ve had sex for the first time.
I still say deep down a lot of blacks like Trump. They can’t say it, but Trump was very popular in the black community before he went political.
Lighten up, it wasn’t unfunny, it’s just not the best ever. Libs pretend their lives are perfect and their crap don’t smell. Rock and Chapelle were poking fun at them for being so sensitive about things not going their way. Why did Rock and Chap. mess up their lines? I thought they are supposed to be comedic geniuses?
The opening song was Leonard Cohen who died recently.
I'll tell you what will be funny, when they do a skit about SNL and the special music guests they have - 90% are laughably non-talented.
That's a totally subjective view. I get it that not everyone will react to those skits in the same way.
Idiotic sketch. Mild humor, missed opportunities and SO MANY screwed-up lines. Didn’t they rehearse this?
Great, I still don't get how that supersedes the most important election outcome of our time.
Nothing will ever beat, “It’s a desert topping. NO! It’s a floor wax.”
Was the message that America is racist or that the whiney snowflakes are racist and clueless?
