We had to endure weeks and months of political polls, all favoring Clinton. I have said many times, "The only poll that counts will be on Nov. 9th. I rest my case!
Not “polls,” but propaganda.
Right on.
I’ve followed Scott Adams (http://blog.dilbert.com/) and found his views very interesting, constructive.
I loved Palins quip about polls
I agree. The polls were propaganda, and I believe all using them knew that to be the case, and I believe those conducting them knew they weren’t conducting neutral research.
And I want to issue a deep-felt apology to all Freepers for my lack of faith in the American people. The last few days I was very negative about this election. I thought that nothing Hillary did could touch her. Good triumphed.
Rudy looks like he’s having a good morning! Wonder why?
Your smile today is infectious!
By the power vested in me by absolutely nothing and nobody, I absolve you of your sin of pessimism. Now go and practice optimism for the dawning of a great new era!
I stopped paying any attention to the polls about a month ago. What I paid attention to was the fact that CNN’s ratings were tanking, that the NY Times ad revenue had dropped about 95 percent, that several newspapers around the country reported substantial subscription cancellations because of their negative “reporting” on Trump, that every one of Trump’s rallies were getting MILLIONS of views between youtube and his Facebook. Then there were his rallies that even dwarfed all those where Clinton brought all the big name “entertainers” with her. I could feel that there was definitely something going on out there that the media was deliberately ignoring, or just didn’t want to see.
He can’t wait to become AG and conduct a REAL investigation on Pickles Von Cankles.
+1
It is all good.
In fact the drama from all sides was a blast!
Makes you feel more alive when it’s over.
Not only did Trump win all of the swing states where Hillary was alleged to have a small margin, he won states like Wisconsin and Michigan that were declared "safe" for Hillary, and came within a percentage point or two of beating Hillary in states like Colorado.
I find it hard to believe that pollsters that did a relatively plausible job of predicting outcomes over the past several elections could have inadvertently failed so miserably this time around. The only other alternative is that the pollsters were intentionally distorting their data with models favoring the outcomes that they preferred. I more or less knew that this was so when they kept saying that Hillary was within a few points of Trump in Texas.
The loser Romney’s actual statement:
Best wishes for our duly elected president: May his victory speech be his guide and preserving the Republic his aim, Romney tweeted Wednesday morning.”
HE NEVER COULD BRING HIMSELF TO SAY DONALD TRUMP’S NAME!
“The only other alternative is that the pollsters were intentionally distorting their data with models favoring the outcomes that they preferred. “.........
I have said that about polls and how they are created to result in a desired outcome. This time it backfired and BIG TIME. I love it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Mitt was hoping to congratulate Hillary on her victory today. It’s too bad that Mormons aren’t allowed to drink, because I’m sure Mitt could use a few shots right now.
It’s great to see that the polls were wrong, but it’s also a relief to not have to see the daily tracking posts anymore! OMG a 0.4% negative shift!!!!!!!!!
