This is my take of the electoral college - i'm not authority but it's a fun conversation... at least it's sparking some interesting discussion on Facebook. This is my rare foray into a vanity post here... please be gentle. :)
If the image doesn't load I have Trump winning with 285 electoral college votes. The image is clickable.
I think he takes Wisconsin and Michigan as well. And, this is a big if, if there is even one more terror attack between now and election day, liek another club...Trump takes a surprise state or two in addition. Like Virginia or even New Jersey. if more than one terror attacks, then we’re talking Colorado, New Mexico and more as well easily.
Here’s my map

I couldn’t agree more.
Pennsylvania is really the decisive vote in my opinion. That’s what there is always a ton of fraud found there.
I’ve seen that map and don’t agree with it based on other data. I do believe there’s a Brexit effect which is how I reached the decision to color some of the states red.
My first iteration had all four... but I decided to be more conservative with my speculation and was surprised when the end result (without those) still had Trump winning.
I know, right?!?
If Trump wins NYC, I’ll be going to bed early.
I’m one of those that started being a worry wart... so I started digging and realized that there’s a path to victory that statistically feels valid. Of course I could have egg on my face come the 8th... but right now I’m encouraged.
My head has gone there too... but a variable I pray actively against. Interesting map you have there... wish I could give WI and MI to Trump... i’m close on WI. NH on the other hand shocks me at how big the blue lead is there. Not one I could hand to Trump yet.
Colorado is leaning Trump.
Texas has been a hotbed of illegal and left-coast migration. It saddens me but the fact that anyone thinks it’s in play isn’t surprising. But I’m 90% confident it will go red.
I hope so. If he wins PA then this election will be over by 6:30pm election night.
I would normally be telling you to plan on turning in early. However, I've been through this before with Reagan - Carter election night.
I can still remember Walter "Crankcase" covering the returns. Even after it was obvious Reagan had won big he kept up with "At this point folks it's still too early to call. Only **% of the vote has been counted. Blah, blah, blah.... "
The media will be much worse this time around. They will drag out calling it for Trump for as long as they can. But their faces never lie. Watch their faces when they report the results. Despite all the optimistic posturing, Cronkite's face looked like he just found a turd in his punch bowl or that his wife ran off with the mailman in his prized big fancy sailboat.
The only reason I would stay up past midnight is to watch the online/on air suicides on MSNBC, CNBC, CNN, etc.
I too agree they are leaning too far to the left there. But still, even so... they always have multiple ways to win and we don’t.
if we don’t get CO or PA, Trump needs UT and Me-2 for 270.
I have HILL at 269 max, tough seeing her get to 270. Those UT Electors are going to be scrutinized big time if HILL is at 269
She’s gonna come in third in UT.
I’m not worried about about any Republican elector voting for HER, maybe some would diss Trump but not in favor of her. I assume his people chose carefully in Utah.
McMuffin’s electors would vote for McMuffin (or some other party establ choice better able to contest it in the House) if he wins the state but could go Pence for VP.
