Them boys like standing behind each other.
A bit misleading. If you play the video you can see the QB calls the play as he walks along the formation. They then break into a traditional formation. Essentially, it’s an atypical huddle.
Yep. That's why I noted in my post #1 that it was a temporary formation. But I guess it would cause a bit of confusion in the the defense, which was the goal in the first place.
The result of this line-up was...?

Touchdown.
Oy. Saw this last night and thought I needed a butterfly netting! Now that I know I wasn’t hallucinating, gotta say, I love stuff like this!
Gay pride
Centipedes? You mean they all belong to /reddit/The_Donald?
This is Bill Belichick’s fault...lol
Is that Michigan or Penn State?
At 2nd-and-2? I would hope so. They probably could have lined up backward and scored from there.
After a prof their tweed he feels empowered to flunk anyone on campus who is a Trump supporter, why should we not just turn out backs.... You have no idea of the hostility on that campus for those that exercise intellectual diversity. I can't talk about an example I know, I wish I could....
Conquering Hero's? what a farce, they want to make it all about "politics" good, I don't have to send my kids their, by their blue and maze shirts, or watch them on TV...
Well, I'm guessing that someone who enjoys trick football plays might care. That's why I posted it. For me, not everything is political. But as they say, your mileage may vary.
But you can’t snap the ball from that formation.
RULES EXPERT QUESTION: I thought I knew the rules pretty well but there was a play in the Virginia/North Carolina game I don’t understand. Virginia lined up in an apparent field goal try, then shifted out: 2 guys shifted to the right, the “kicker” stood still, the linemen shifted way left, and the “holder” shifted to the left behind the linemen. They snapper picked up the ball and flipped it to the “holder” on the left. Then the snapper went out for a pass and the “holder” threw it to him for a touchdown. I didn’t know the snapper could receive a pass under any circumstances.
The guy on the end of the line can receive a forward pass.
So, if the snapper is at the end of that side of the line, he can catch the football.
But numbers? Thought centers needed to be 50’s so they were identified, regardless of line position. Ends are 80’s and 90’s, blockers are 60’s and 70’s for the same reason. So you can tell who is eligible to receive.

You’re there, too?
