On Friday, the non-partisan Brookings Institution released a paper which describes the expected impact of the outcome of the 2016 U.S. presidential election on the global financial markets, reports the Huffington Post.
Authored by the University of Michigan's Justin Wolfers and Dartmouth College's Eric Zitzewitz, the piece notes, "...we estimate that market participants believe that a Trump victory would reduce the value of the S&P 500, the UK, and Asian stock markets by 10-15%, would reduce the oil price by $4, would lead to a 25% decline in the Mexican Peso, and would significantly increase expected future stock market volatility."

Peso only down 25%?
The same way BREXIT caused Great Britain’s economy to crash?
The Brexit strategy.
More scare tactics.
Don’t fall for it.
If this is true, he just got the Occupy Wall Street vote. :-D
Stopped reading right there.
They'll vote for either the Democrats or the CPUSA so they're non-partisan.
This was their intention. The ability of banks and Wall Street types to trade the Fed's 0% money and make billions that they can put right in their own pockets rather than pay out to investors like us.
Destroying the Middle Class is the biggest step in taking over and turning us all in to their serfs. Since they have money and the ability to take ours with the current rates fixed by the Fed they think they are our betters and that we should cower beneath them and treat them like royalty.
being able to lord over others is the biggest aphrodisiac and since they have no moral compass they want that power.
Aww.
Just don’t fail to vote. The markets will do what they will.
“This is not a threat but a promise. They have to crash the markets to blame Trump for everything that they have done.”
Yeah, watch for a significant fed rate increase in Q1 2017, just to sandbag Trump’s inaugural term. They will suck the discretionary budget dry, and every thing Trump proposes will therefore be irresponsible!
Think I’m wrong?
Yes, I agree with you. It is a given the powers that be will unleash all of their tricks to let the system collapse. This will then be blamed on Trump and the conservatives for daring to push back against the new world order agenda. It was going to go down one way or the other anyway. The Trump win and the resulting collapse will simply be exploited and the nation demoralized - and the citizens have no choice but to accept more government controls and less freedoms.
Already did by absentee ballot. I guess now I’ve doomed you all, unless you vote Hillary in droves./s
same shiite they predicted about Brexit, Get lost bogus “experts.”
