Earth faces another ICE AGE within 15 YEARS as Russian scientists discover Sun 'cooling'

Experts say that solar activity as low as it currently is has not been seen since the mini-ice age that took place between 1645 and 1715 – a period known as the Maunder Minimum where the entire Thames froze over.

A new model has allowed experts to predict solar activity with more accuracy than ever before and it suggests that magnetic activity will fall by 60 per cent between 2030 and 2040.

The model looks at the Sun’s ’11-year heartbeat’ – the period it takes for magnetic activity to fluctuate. This cycle was first discovered some 173 years ago.

However, a mathematician has established a more up-to-date model that can forecast what the solar cycles will look like based upon dynamo effects in two layers of the Sun.

Dynamo effects are a geophysical theory that dictate how the movement of the Earth’s outer core conducts materials like liquid iron across the magnetic field to create an electric current – this also influences fluid motion beneath Earth’s surface to create two magnetic fields along the axis of the Earth’s rotation.

Valentina Zharkova from Northumbria University applied this theory to the Sun, and was able to predict the affects of solar cycles with 97 per cent accuracy.

Ms Zharkova said at the National Astronomy Meeting: “We found magnetic wave components appearing in pairs, originating in two different layers in the Sun's interior.

Re: These "cosmic rays" (CRs) cause ionization of molecules in the atmosphere, and thereby can cause clouds to form (because the ionized molecules or dust particle can act as "seeds" for drop formation).

Note this phenomenon has actually been replicated in a laboratory; it doesn't rely on unvalidated computer models.

Last I'm aware, most "climate change" computer models don't even take into account varying cloud cover. And, yes, the experimental apparatus is called a "cloud chamber".

The basic idea is that when an increased number of galactic cosmic rays (electrically charged particles from outside the solar system) reach the atmosphere a greater number of sun-blocking clouds are formed, thus leading to cooler times. But during periods of increased solar activity, more cosmic rays are deflected away from Earth than usual, less Sun-blocking clouds form, and the Earth warms (naturally).

Another effect of the sunspot driven solar wind peak is an inflation of the solar magnetic field / plasma bubble. An expanded bubble deflects more cosmic ray particles; thus, less being available to seed droplet formation in Earth’s atmosphere, therefor fewer low level clouds. More heating is a result.

Conversely, a quieter sun leads to a cooler Earth, despite the overall solar radiance only dropping by a minuscule fraction.

I try not to be pedantic, but the sloppy terminology used in climate reporting is frustrating. By confusing/conflating ice ages with glacial periods with brief cooling like LIA, uninformed readers can’t see the big picture.
