Benjamin Taylor, 32, has been arrested and is being held on a $2 million bail in Southern Regional Jail, West Virginia. The man has been charged with the rape and beating resulting in the death of nine-month-old Emmaleigh Barringer, daughter of his girlfriend, with whom he lived. The baby’s mother has three older children who were apparently unharmed by Taylor.
On the morning of October 3, Amanda Adkins awoke early, around 4 a.m., after going to bed about six hours earlier. After awakening, she discovered the baby was not in her crib. She began a frantic search which ended when she found Emmaleigh naked, bleeding, battered and unresponsive in the basement of her home near Ripley, WV. She immediately called 911, but when paramedics arrived, Emmaleigh was not breathing. Although they were able to regain Emmaleigh’s pulse, she was placed on a ventilator and was soon pronounced brain dead. She had head trauma and had lost massive blood from the brutal sexual assault, which responding police characterized as “the worst sexual assault they had ever seen“, according to Fox 43.

Please don’t. We have already had one Hillary Clinton get a rapist off. (no pun intended) After this, I’m almost sure if any lawyer even dared pull that in a West Virginia court room you’d hear about it on CNN, FOX et all.
“Today’s liberal lawyers will ask what the baby did to entice him to do that; they’ll blame the baby.”
That’s what Hillary Clinton would do.
All this is what I’ve read/heard about arguments lawyers have used to get their client judged not guilty. Look at what that Texas lawyer used on the kid who while drunk killed four people - used the affluence argument; kid was sent home. I just wouldn’t put it past a creep lawyer to try to point the blame elsewhere.

Yes I do think that woman was a piss poor character for letting a man who had a criminal record near her baby. Still if I were on the jury it is not a reason for him to harm the child. No lawyer would be able to sway me. If people in this country are swayed by this then there is something wrong with them. I would as a jury member and a regular citizen give that mother a what for. She should have had better sense. What difference does it make? There are thousands more like her out there. Young, stupid and having babies with no father around to protect the child.
Hopefully there’ll be people watching what will be going on with this creep and let us know.
