You do not need to be an “in-the-weeds” political junkie to understand the dynamic at play here…. the media is clueless.  However, just log it for reference.

(Via NBC) House Speaker Paul Ryan and Ivanka Trump met in private Monday, according to sources familiar with the meeting.

Ryan, who delivered remarks at the New York Economic Club, met with the GOP nominee’s daughter and trusted adviser at her request and the two had a “very positive discussion,” according to the sources. One aide said Ryan spoke about his experience on the presidential ticket in 2012 and Trump shared updates about her father’s campaign.

Ivanka Trump’s overture to the House Speaker appears to be an attempt at bridge-building, and comes one week after vice-presidential nominee Mike Pence visited Capitol Hill on his own mission to mend fences.

Ryan and Donald Trump have had a strained relationship throughout the 2016 campaign and while the Speaker has said he supports his party’s nominee, he has been critical of Trump at several turns.

Just last week, Ryan said that Trump should release his tax returns to the public. For his part, Trump flirted with supporting Ryan’s primary challenger this summer before endorsing the Speaker just days ahead of the vote. (link)

our, meaning my family, pastor has been praying this for over a year, he added the part about the SS when they were assigned an the part about Eric when he and his family were threatened.

My Prayer is that Christ will give me the time to see Donald Trump elected on November 8th, 2016, sworn in on January 20th, 2017, implement his agenda, starting with riding the nation of illegals, muslims, the EPA and the departments or energy and education, and then to give his life to the Lord God of Creation, Christ Jesus, becoming a true Born Again Washed in the Blood of the Lamb Christian.

That is my prayer.

Then I can die a happy man, for all that I would wish for my grandchildren from a secular world will be.

I further pray that God have mercy on the soul of any that harm a hair on his or his families head.

I felt a lot better about his safety before the Secret Service, all paid g0vt lackeys, was assigned to him for all they will be doing is disarming men who would fight to protect him. They seem to be waiting for a call from obama to start investigating Ted Cruz and Glenn beck, Roger Ailes, Romney, the Bush cartel, Fox, and Hillary Clinton and the Clinton crime family, concerning the threat on the life of Donald’s son Eric. This investigation has still yielded no results and no arrest.

Pre-SS, the men and women protecting him were protecting him, now the G0vt has assigned armed stooges that obey and bow down to the alter of obama.

I further pray that, if for some reason Donald isn’t sworn in, or he or his family is harmed, that US Military Veterans will lead the armed charge against the ruling political class, their masters in the donor class, the corrupt media, banks and the Establishment.

I can understand the Trump family needing SS protection, but to start having it now tells me Hillary is over...

She only gets her SS protection because she is the wife of a former President and S of S...other than that there is no reason to protect her...

In one of the books I have read, the SS details say that when they goof up, that’s where they go is to the Clinton detail...they hate them...

With Trump however, I did read an article some months ago that the SS detail loves him and his family, he makes sure they are all okay before they leave to go anywhere, he talks to them about how they are doing, if they need anything, and before they leave to go back to either Fla or NY, he always makes sure they are all there and okay...they love him and one guy said he would have no problem taking a bullet for Mr. Trump or anyone in his family...

That says a lot to me...that means ‘respect’ and that is something you ‘earn’ it just isn’t given to you...Mr. Trump is going to be ‘respected’ all over the world, it has already started with Mexico and now Egypt...and Russia I bet is next in the meeting schedule...

Yep, napalm is in the air and that tells me, Hillary has had her butt handed to her and will NEVER see the inside of OUR HOUSE ever again!!!

At first I thought her code name should be “Hottie”, but for a woman of her accomplishments and stature that seemed a bit demeaning. If I were allowed to decide her code name it would be “Silk Fist” or maybe “Velvet Hammer”. I suspect that her roll beyond being Trumps #1 advisor behind the scenes, will be to go on the Sunday talking head shows and sell Trump’s policies to the American people and she’ll be smooth as silk doing it. At the same time she’ll be punching back at Trump’s critics, especially the #nevertrump RINO’s who broke their pledge, and she will do it all very powerfully but with total class and a smile on her face. I think she’ll end up mesmerizing her audiences and she’ll be Trumps most important weapon against his detractors and critics. Ronald Reagan’s greatest strength was the ability to talk past the press and directly to the American people thus eliminating the ever-present leftist media filter that always distorts what an R or Conservative says. Ivanka will do the same for Trump, as if he needs help in this department as he runs circles around the media, but every bit helps, and it should be the President’s surrogates that do this kind of battle not the President himself. One thing is for certain, the Trump White House will be the most media savvy press operation that the R’s have ever seen.
