'If you take my spot, I'll get drafted, I'll go to Vietnam, and I'll die: Hillary recounts being yelled at by room full of men as she prepared to take law school admissions exam Clinton revealed she was one of the few women in the room that day The men said 'You don't need to be here, there's plenty else you can do' That was one of the moments Clinton realized she needed to control her emotions so she could focus on the test She realized this protection now might make her seem 'walled off', adding that women are 'seen through a different lens' then men
It was as she sat in a large classroom, awaiting to take the admissions test that would allow her to attend law school, that Hillary Clinton learned to control her emotions. The future Secretary of State would attend Yale Law School the next year, but on that day all she knew was this: a room full mostly of men were screaming at her. 'You don't need to be here,' they told her. 'There's plenty else you can do.'
'It turned into a real "pile on"', Clinton said in her revealing interview with Humans of New York. 'One of them even said: "If you take my spot, I'll get drafted, and I'll go to Vietnam, and I'll die." And they weren't kidding around. It was intense. It got very personal.' Clinton recalled noticing she was one of the few women in the room, remembered how nervous she already felt for the rest, how she 'wasn't sure how well I'd do'. 'But I couldn't respond,' she said of the men. 'I couldn't afford to get distracted because I didn't want to mess up the test.'

1968 no more first year graduate deferments.
1968 no more first year graduate deferments.
One man probably asked her to get a cup of water and the rest is all imagined.
This is poor Hillary lying to show the people what she has been through in her life, just to become their President. In fact, this fabrication from her past is her attempt to show nothing has changed, mean men running for POTUS, while she is one of a few women brave enough to face their scorn, “Hillary get off the campaign trail, your a woman trying to take my job, you don’t belong here! “. She is counting on women being this stupid.
Parsing this in Clintonspeak, this would be true, even if 90% of the LSAT takers in the room were women. If Radcliffe was effectively the women's campus of Harvard at the time, and the Radcliffe women took their LSATs at Harvard, women wouldn't have been at all rare in the test room.
Confabulation. Or just as likely, a flat-out lie, she's pandering for votes.
I think she made this victim story up.
Nah, there's only about 6 people that still believe what she says.
Even her supporters don't believe her anymore. They'll vote for her anyway because they don't care that she lies.
Funny how she remembers events that “never” happened but could not remember any of the events the FBI asked her about.
She’s not just a liar, she’s a crappy liar. She does everything poorly, IMO.
The law school ADMISSIONS exam is much different than the Bar Exam.
The claim is that this occurred when she too the LSAT, not the Bar.
The horror. Maybe two people actually said something to her.
She also “remembers” being shot at by snipers in Bosnia.
Hillary playing the tried and true victim card.

That is so much BS I smell it all the way from Texas. Women have been passing the bar LONG before that woman faced down imagined discrimination.
This is about the law school admissions test — BEFORE law school. Not the Bar Exam, after you finish law school.
It was actually worse than that, because during the time all these men were berating Hillary, the WHOLE PLACE was under sniper fire.

...The Johnson Administration Feb. 16, 1968, abolished draft deferments for most male graduate students and men in critical occupations. The National Security Council, of which President Johnson was chairman, recommended the new policy, and it was relayed to all state draft directors by Selective Service Director Lewis B. Hershey. While the local boards continued to have discretion to grant deferments as they saw fit, Hershey’s recommendations generally were expected to be followed.
The recommendations did not alter the existing policy of drafting the oldest eligible men first. College undergraduates continued to receive deferments, as did medical, dental and divinity students. (Doctors and dentists were subject to a special draft when they completed their training.)....
hillary said she took the lsat her senior year in college and she graduated in 1969 thus entered likely september 1968 thus graduate deferments were already history..february 1968.
All of these tests are proctored. If there are any anomalies, outburst, etc. the individual is removed. If it causes any time to be lost then the tests are invalidated and have to be retaken (look at SAT/ACT over past couple years with discrepancies). The whole point is to have standard testing process, precise time per section everywhere the test is being administered.
No doubt someone who failed that day would have protested the test and caused everyone in that room to have their test nullified and have to be retaken. For these tests they don’t just drop a bunch of college kids in a room, give them the test and leave. They are intensely supervised.
“Was this before or after she tried to join the Marines?”
Winner.
So she started her policy of getting our guys killed in foreign countries at a young age.
