OK I gotta add one, I just watched it yesterday, two of my all time favorite guitar players, Glenn Campbell and Roy Clark.
Ghost Riders in the Sky. Campbell is playing an Ovation 12 string, the only one I’ve ever seen. I played the 6 string version in the 70’s a few times, never knew a 12 string existed, the one he played on William Tell Overture is a Hamer 12 string, I’ll have to watch again but it looks like it may be set up 6 string, I think the Ovation here is all 12 strings and he’s playing killer leads. Not easy to do, I’ve tried it many times. Most people don’t know it, but Glenn Campbell was one of the most popular studio guitarists of the 60’s.

And now that I got into Roy Clark, this is one of the very best acoustic guitar songs I’ve ever heard, Roy Clark on the “Odd Couple” TV show.

Almost as good as Eric Johnson...
These two were my favorites when I was a kid learning guitar, I watched Hee Haw all the time even though I hated it, just to see Roy Clark play. Both are monster guitar players, and when Campbell had John Hartford on his show it was always good. Roy Clark can also play just about anything..guitar, piano, banjo and I’m not sure what else...Campbell probably can too, I’ve only seen him play guitar.
If you like either or both, look them up on youtube, I’ve seen several great clips of Roy Clark, and I just checked out one of Glenn Campbell and John Hartford doing Foggy Mountain Breakdown that was very good.
Love ya, Glen, thankfully you'll always communicate with us from and through the legacy of your music and talent.

His wife says she had to place him back in the facility after he became violent with her. This sometimes does happen with that diagnosis. They are at that moment, not the person you spent all those years being happy with. This is a physical symptom of a serious disorder. My dad went through something like this, though not nearly for as long or with such family unheaval.
I’ve heard his adult kids are not allowed to see him. Funny how that is often the way it ends, with the patient’s main advocate or conservator deciding to shut certain people out of their parent’s remaining life.
Casey Kasem, same story.
Entertainment used to be a lot more interesting.
Just ... wow!
Damn! I love people who are good at what they do!
My turn.
Something you might not have seen.
Watch for all the law suits upon his demise with charges and counter-charges galore. Maybe it's just as well he's unaware of all this.

Roy Clark from SisterK
and now, GLEN CAMPBELL AND ROY CLARK together , from me.
Oops. I now see you beat me to the punch. Kudos .
Beautiful song...his voice is like liquid honey.

The Great Roy Clarke appears to be looking in awe, at Glen Campbell. Love it.

Vanessa Mae is a great listen when working out in the gym! {;^)
Wrecking Crew. I couldn’t remember the name, I was typing and searching for a couple of videos I wanted when you posted. They were the premier studio crew of that time, along with the group at the studio in Macon Georgia, who did the music for everybody you can think of. Their was a documentary about that a while back, the Macon bunch ended up with Duanne Allman joining them, and did backing tracks for Ray Charles, Aretha Franklin, Percy Sledge and basically everybody else you can think of. Bob Seger recorded there, the Eagles, even groups from England wanted that studio. There was a long list pf artists who all recorded albums in that studio, it had some sort of “mojo” everybody loved, plus the greatest rhythm section outside the Wrecking Crew.
For those who like both, how about Glenn Campbell and Roy Clark both playing the same guitar?
