Odd event taking place outside involving fire dept (vanity)

There's been a single fire truck parked on the street between my house and the one across the street for about 30 minutes. (It did not come lights and siren, btw) They've been shining lights in the bushes and trees in my neighbor's yard across the street, but not in mine. I also saw several fire fighters fanned out, walking slowly on the street and scanning it with their flashlights.

No police or ambulance have shown up, just the single truck. As I post this, the truck is still there, but I don't see any activity now. It's a mystery.

The truck just left and all is quiet. I’m sure I’ll find out later today what the fuss was about.

Please, for your good in the future, if you should suspect someone is breaking into your house, don't bother to post a vanity about it, at least while the situation is still in progress.
