Well it is obvious Newt is not the pick. Several days ago he withdrew from appearing on Fox, tonight he is back and on Hannity.
Nothing, just nothing can top Newt’s interview on Hannity! He’s angry about how the political elite won’t recognize let alone say anything about the real causes of the violence - it’s radical Islam. He said that all Muslims, including US citizens, must reject Sharia and if they don’t, deport them.
When the Fox video come up on YouTube, don’t miss it! Such passion is rare in a US politician (Trump excepted).
You are so right. Newt would be the best pick IMO, so much experience and wisdom—plus he would decimate his opponent in a VP debate.
Newt just threw his support behind his ‘good friend’ Pence. He cannot promote Pence any more than he is, now, on Hannity.

He seems tickled pink and thrilled about whomever Trump chooses. He has thrown his complete support behind Pence.
There are greener pastures ahead for Newt, in a Trump admin.
