No. You are right on the mark. A military warrior that professes allegiance to a Code of Conduct and has sworn to protect and defend the U.S. Constitution, CAN NOT BE SOVEREIGN.

Thanks Delta 21. I will pose this to the colonel the next time we meet for scotch. I am sure he would concur. It just seems odd that one would want to profess their alliance to the Corp with a screen name, while simultaneously claiming they do not need a GD president. It makes no sense to me. Why hide behind innuendos? Wouldn’t it make more sense to just change the name to IamSoveriegn or something more direct.

This is an interesting hypothetical question. In general can a person truly believe they are a “Marine”, and “sovereign” at the same time? The two seem to contradict each other given the motto “Once a Marine, always a Marine”. I would think such a person would have to give up one to claim the other, but, this may all just be semantics.
IF you read my response on the other thread, you will see, the Marine Oath really does contradict the Sovereign citizen meme.

I am so glad I chose wisely in this fight. 2 days into Trumps run I was like..... WHAAAAAAT I AM LOVING THIS BRUTALLY FRANK MAN!!! Before that I thought what a buffoon, a rich buffoon but one nonetheless. What a difference 2 days made. Pledged my fealty that day and willing to fight to the death for him. Cost me here a few times in skirmishes with the Cruzers. (Censored (All comments under review) quite a few times and actually non opus Zotted) Luckily the Zot was for a misunderstood comment about Melania. I guess it could have been read 2 ways. I meant it in a holy cow, that lady is hotter than lava kinda way. Luckily Jim is a fair man and apparently reviewed my posting history.
While not a Cruzader I preferred Cruz to Trump. I am not a Stormtrumper but Trump won the nomination fair and square. Get behind our nominee. and stop attacking each other. We have forgotten Ronald’s 11th commandment while the devilcrats live by “Dems don’t indict Dems.”
