How can I filter Free Republic using keywords?

When you read the title, don't click on it. We are all about self sufficiency and personal accountability here. You are not allowed to be offended on FR.

I filter it the opposite way - if I want Ted Danson articles, for example, I type “teddanson.” Not sure how to avoid Ted Danson articles until I see them?

If you find some bitterness among the posts, you can boil the whole FR and it does blanch out some of the bitterness.

For some reason I could never get my iPad through regular coffee filters. That’s why I had to boil it.

Go to every article that doesn't offend you and insert the keyword "thisisok."

Then do a keyword search for the keyword "thisisok."

Voila.

Problem solved.

When you see a thread title and prefer not to see the actual thread, close your really tight as you scoll and don't open them until you have scrolled beyond that thread.

I understand the problem, there have been several titles of articles which I would rather not see. Don’t think there is a solution to it other than avoiding FR until they drop out of the newsfeed.

That said, are the personal attacks necessary? I love a good humorous thread hijacking and poking fun, but many of these replies go beyond that to outright insults. Conduct not becoming of Freepers.

use the little wheely thingy on the mouse and spin it with your finger until you push the little clicky button thingy when you see something you just filtered, or just scroll.
