So,what rust bucket car should I buy?
It's gotta be cheap,it's gotta be running.
I need a truck, love El Caminos, then again I could buy a cheap truck that runs and get a 68 Camaro, then I watched the original "Gone In 60 Seconds" from 1974 and I like the fake Mach 1.
It has to be a manual not automatic.

Define "cheap".
Because a 60's era Camaro or Mustang won't be.

Check values especially if you want to restore it.
Personally, I’d love to get my hands on a Dodge Super Bee. But I’m 65 and what the heck would I do with it?

My oldest brother misses his 1969 El Camino. I miss my 1966 Mustang. I learned from a wealthy collector that Ford Model T’s are available for under $10K, because the owners are downsizing.

If it's an old rust bucket you want, the Chevy Vega would corrode in the dealer show room when it was new.

I love mopars, but you’ll get killed on parts, both availabilty and price. B bodies are completely out of sight. GM Pontiac Tempest might be an example of affordable. I assume authentic numbers matching stuff is out of the question.
C bodies can be affordable, but are a differebt class of car.
