The ongoing criminal probe surrounding Hillary's email server has been marked by opacity and lack of virtually any disclosure, not to mention a major turf war between the FBI and the DOJ, which is why many were surprised when overnight the WSJ revealed that at the center of the probe over Hillary's handling of classified information are a series of emails between American diplomats in Islamabad and their superiors in Washington about whether to oppose specific drone strikes in Pakistan.
As the WSJ writes, the 2011 and 2012 emails were sent via the “low side’’—government slang for a computer system for unclassified matters—as part of a secret arrangement that gave the State Department more of a voice in whether a Central Intelligence Agency drone strike went ahead, "according to congressional and law-enforcement officials briefed on the Federal Bureau of Investigation probe." Note the last and recall that two months ago we noted that according to Chuck Grassley, an FBI "source" may leak what the FBI has uncovered so far, to wit:

Every once in a while they eliminate one of the presidents enemies or threats, Crooked Hil-Liary is a threat, she could spill her guts and even the Boston Globe would have to turn on the Kenyan, so the fbi at the orders of herr obamait, may be opening a path for Bernie, or Biden, or Kerry, or Gore, or maybe even a Paul Ryan/Mittens Romney candidacy.

Clinton and Reno ALSO sent swarms of federal goons to Waco to arrest David Koresh on a bogus weapons charge. Been studying these Clintons for many years, and I will never understand how anyone could ever vote for either Bill or Hillary—or allow them to be anywhere but in prison for their many crimes and catastrophic governing.

This is how I think about these leaks ;
I believe honest FBI agents seeing and experiencing an obstruction of justice by the bamster justice dept. ,,, an attempt to diss this whole investigation and install Hillary as the 0bama admin. continuation with out any charges . I believe these honest FBI’ers are going to leak the worst of the worst eMails and Clintoon Foundation corruption into the public media as a way to expose the facts and truth to the people about the Clintons . Once the facts are exposed it will make it very hard to continue a cover up as more and more of the crooks get deeper involved in the crime ,, ala-watergate type snowball from hell which will call for a special prosecutor and investigation into the AG’s office right on down the line . Once this begins it will make it very hard for Hillary to continue to stay in the race as the DNC’s nominee . And you say What ? Thanks ,,,,,
If the loyal FB and Agency members are left no recourse but to leak, that works too for the leftist. The regime has been far and away the most vigilant and retaliatory toward whistleblowers in US history would politicize and effectively paralyze them.
There will be no outcry among the media over the leaks. You know what team they’re playing for. They will find the smallest purchase to discredit and pillory the leakers. The people here will know what’s going on but Joe Citizen half-listening to ABC Nightly News over dinner will have no idea, or if he does, the soothing voice will tell him it’s no big deal anyway and is merely a big political crapball flung by mean old white male Republicans.
As ever, the goal is control. There really isn’t much opposition within fedgov to the radical insane left. Congress RINOs? Hah. The judiciary? Hanging by a thread. Law enforcement and the military? Entering the final stages of the purity purge.
Bottom line: I’m not pinning my hopes on email-gate to turn things around.
