So How soon will it be that we start seeing MAB show up
MAB you ask... Muhammad Ali Blvd. show up in cities towns across America "
It’s always considerate when municipalities alert visitors to where the bad parts of town are so they can avoid them.
Better to see something like that rather than that plaque “honoring” that thug Michael Brown.
Doesn’t matter any more than main st or MLK Blvd.
A street named after a draft dodger?
Hell’s bells! They’ll be naming high schools after this illiterate Muslim.
Juneteeth, on June 19th. Emancipation Day of the last remaining slaves in the united states. 1865.
Maybe it’s different now, but when I lived in Oakland, Ca., I always made sure I got home before dark on Juneteenth. There were lots of entertaining shows and exhibits during the day, but at nightfall, many dopers, gangs and persistent panhandlers would begin making their rounds, harrassing the strolling couples and the single joggers.

Prairie View, Texas just named a street after Sandra Bland who hanged herself in her jail cell after getting combative with a cop in a traffic stop.

Exactly. I have no problems with MLK Blvd, Mohamed Ali Blvd, etc. It’s one of those classic win-win situations: they’re good for black pride and they’re convenient map markers, even better than colorful pins, because ALL maps will have the markers on them, not just the ones in police stations.
I’m waiting for hussein to declare a month of national mourning....and close all federal facilities.
National holidays for the anniversary of his death, AND his birthday; and a statue on the national mall;
or just take down Jefferson’s memorial and rededicate it to C Clay
I think with Ali that it was the “religion of peace”.
Wow you can buy a house there for 100 bucks a month
Good point.
Yeah, casius road. Or maybe clay ave.
Oh, yeah - that was the state trooper who was cruising college chicklettes because the 30-odd strong campus police department couldn't handle their own jurisdiction... :)
You mean like Bill Clinton?
Faster than MLK Blvd.
Many years after MLK’s death, all Black Chgo aldermen opposed the name. Leon Despres stood alone.
