The Obama administration has appointed a transgender individual to the President’s Advisory Council on Faith-based Neighborhood Partnerships, selecting Barbara Satin for a post along with two representatives of minority faiths.
Satin, who was born a man but identifies as a woman, is an Air Force veteran, a member of the United Church of Christ and currently works with the National Gay and Lesbian Task Force, according to CBN News.
“Given the current political climate, I believe it’s important that a voice of faith representing the transgender and gender non-conforming community — as well as a person of my years, nearly 82 — be present and heard in these vital conversations,” Satin said in a statement published through the United Church of Christ.
President Barack Obama announced the appointments of Satin along with Sikh leader Manjit Singh and Baha’i leader Naseem Kourosh to the faith council on May 12.

Damn, I can’t wait for Trump to get in the White House. There needs to be a hard return to sanity in this country. What we’ve had the last seven and a half years has been an abomination.

Government has literally destroyed the traditional church rolls in church ran charities and relief programs as well as medical missions such as church ran hospitals. This just gave the devil a stronger foot in the door.
I will add to the The United Church of Christ {not to be confused with the Church of Christ a true Christ centered Christian Church} has time and time again took up the legal sword toward Christian causes. Look up American's United for Separation of Church and State. Who leads it? A UCOC uh minister Barry Lynn and I use the term reverend not in a Christian sense but kinda like the reverend Al or Jessee sense.
