Imagine that you were the president of an American university at the end of 2015, as student protests over racial concerns swept the country, energized by the Black Lives Matter movement. The president of the University of Missouri resigned over controversies there, and other college leaders were confronted on their campuses. Now its your turn. A hundred students march to your office and present their demands. They give you one week to respond. What should you do?... As a result of these disparate admissions standards, many students spend four years in a social environment where race conveys useful information about the academic capacity of their peers... . If a school commits to doubling the number of black students, it will have to reach deeper into its pool of black applicants, admitting those with weaker qualifications, particularly if most other schools are doing the same thing. This is likely to make racial gaps larger, which would strengthen the negative stereotypes that students of color find when they arrive on campus.

As a subscriber to the dead tree version, I never know if the articles are available to all?
If not, try the ol' search engine trick.
I’d give the little snowflakes 10-minutes to get back to class or be expelled.
I would then purge 50% of the faculty/administration and replace it with documented, demonstrated conservatives.
I would then brace for a doubling of applications for admission for the following year.
I got it.
Thanks for the post and the link.
Ohio State University demonstrated how to handle Social Justice Crybullies:

At ALL Freshman orientation classes, an adult needs to look them in the eye and tell them: Out there, somewhere is someone wanting to take your place.....then proceed to kick these snowflakes out of school when they become a liability.
Reparations are already being paid, it’s called ‘affirmative action’.
“The Army invested more resources in training and mentoring black soldiers so that they could meet rigorous promotion standards. But, crucially, standards were lowered for no one————”
So more attention should be given to black freshman?
I don’t get it.
Some people,of all races, just don’t belong in college.
.
I think my hard truths would read a little differently.
College is for learning. These kids are deluded racist leftist kooks. The college isn’t racist against these protesters duh.
The one who lied on 5 shows about Benghazi just said that National security is too white. Perhaps it’s because they don’t have the brains. Same for Nascar. One can complain that there are not enough blacks in Nascar. Could be because they don’t have the balls.
Agree, a very good read.
Same for NBA. One can complain that there are not enough whites in NBA. Could be because they dont have the balls.
NBA in 2015 was composed of 74.4 percent black players, 23.3 percent white players, 1.8 percent Latinos, and 0.2 percent Asian.
And apparently no Pacific Islanders?
The idiot children shown in that video don’t belong in College or University. Colleges should have the academic standards set so high that if students cannot read/write in two or more languages, complete basic Trig and Chemistry assignments when they start on day one... and stop dressing like gang members, they cannot start a “real” education program. No IQ’s are being measured prior to acceptance, No real communication skills are proven, no real logical reasoning is pre-tested, no math or science abilities... so since those are not present, there should be no “higher education”.
Flunk them out. Cancel their student visas and march most of them straight to the airport with a one way ticket back home to the 3rd world Hell-holes that spawned them and that they want to create here in the USA. Get rid of these fake intellectual college aged protestors (in their late 30’s for some of them). Put them on work for welfare programs until they get motivated to pay their own way to a trade school, or get serious about learning how to do something that pays, or where they can become useful for anything other than whining about their feelings of disenfranchisement.
I liked that nod to the Army near the end of it. I was in the Navy in the 80s, and it seemed to me even then that racial equality was far more advanced in the military than in universities. Gender equality, no, that was abysmal. But racial equality? Yes.
Proud of my Buckeyes (the admin, not the BLM thugs)!
This is an excellent article.
The NBA is not diverse enough...
What, you mean that the more blacks you include makes the collective IQ of the student body decline? Well, what if we don't include non-blacks in the sample?
You mean that the more blacks you include makes the collective IQ of the black student body decline? Uh... well, that doesn't help at all.
Or do you mean the negative stereotype that black students, as a group, don't measure up to the students who don't get special race-favored status during the admissions process? Who'd of thunk that?
Boy, I'm starting to think the affirmative action thing might not be the answer.
If black people can't be competitive on their own, maybe they should consider going to a "historically black" school. At least there they wouldn't have to be embarrassed because they can't compete with some asian kid whose family has only been here a couple of years.
A hundred students march to your office and present their demands. They give you one week to respond. What should you do?.
Immediately EXPEL ALL OF THEM, then march right in to court and get a Restraining Order against every last one of the little pukes.
Here’s the way I heard Watd Connelly (black anti-AA guy in Cal) explain it. If you take a HS grad who qualifies for Cal State, Long Beach and give him a spot at UCLA or CAL Berkeley, then you are placing him above his capability.
Now do that with a thousand kids and you have a big problem at a UC campus. You can either lower your standards at the highest schools so they can succeed or you can watch them fail because they cannot compete with the others who meet the standards.
I know at one time, we had four year schools offering remedial classes.
His conclusion?
I’t not fair to some average black kid to bump him up when he may do well at Cal State or community college and have a successful life.
