1. Prevention: Create a situation that is unmanageable, something so large and widespread across the country that any declaration by Obama will be made ineffective. Engage massive numbers of lawful gun owners in a frequent display of force and unity against tyranny and violence. An observable, training and coordinating armed population will deter revolutionary forces simply by making it's presence known. Stand together and make your own declaration as a community: We are too many. We have forged alliances with our constitutional sheriffs. We will not recognize a declaration of martial law by this subversive administration.
2. Join a Militia: Better training. Better organization. More formidable hardware. However, less in number and easier to target than option 1. There's also the potential of unwittingly becoming involved with unsavory or questionable characters you may not want to be associated with. Do not pledge yourself to any man or cause other than your own natural, inalienable rights.
3. Plan to respond after martial law is declared: A general rule of warfare is never agree to fight the enemy on their terms. When a task force shows up at your door, you've lost the battle. You are outnumbered, outgunned, outmaneuvered. The goal at this point is to take out as many of them as possible and, if you survive, reclaim your rights and quality of life.
In this senario you can:
a. Hide all your prepped food, water, sanitation, medication and weapons around your property or at friend's and family's to mitigate confiscation by FEMA and disarmament agents. Let them take what they find then go back to what you were doing. But if they return frequently they'll dwindle your supplies. Or you can:
b. After the task force leaves, high tail it to your partner's house, get the weapons you've stored there and set up an ambush at the location you've scouted out earlier to wipe out the enemy and recover your provisions.
c. Booby trap your house and turn it into a badger hole, adopting the attitude "If you stick your hand in here you aren't getting it back, I don't care if I have to take you out with me." Install cameras, motion detectors, keep your guns on you and stay alert at all times. If they catch you off guard you won't have any effect. If you go this way consider yourself, everybody and everything in your home lost. But if you create enough casualties and enforcement disasters to make a routine appearance on the news, they might change their approach. They're already using social pressure urging your community to convince you to disarm.
4. Become a hermit: Try to evacuate to a forest or wilderness area and survive like a caveman. Throw away all traceable electronics. Take only what you can carry and cover your tracks. Remember, poaching a king's dear means a death sentence, and there will be drones.
5. Conform: Do nothing. Plan nothing. Say nothing. Go where they herd you. Eat and drink as little as they say. Work as hard as they demand and hope they might go away in a few weeks, years, decades...
Which is more preferable? To prevent a bloody civil war with antirevolutionary methods or struggle in a counterrevolution after it has begun? Once martial law is declared there will be virtually no recovering any natural rights or quality of life for a long time. We can not allow the president to go that far. Barack Hussein Obama has welcomed the formation of many Islamic colonies across the country; Sharia no-go zones where law enforcement are not allowed. My question is: Where are the American colonies? You might consider moving to an area where you outnumber those who are revolution-compliant. As an arms bearer, do not let yourself become isolated and compartmentalized in our society. Defy surveillance. Stand together and announce that our society is a no-go zone for any fundamental transformation troops.
FReeper Display of Arms and Bearers is an opportunity to prevent or prepare for martial law by peacefully organizing on line, participating in mass civil disobedience using words, pictures and videos as weapons. Display your defense training here once a month and organize with other FReepers. Keep buying guns and ammo. Start asking your neighbors if they would like to come to the shooting range with you. Start talking with them about civilian alert and surveillance systems you can put in place to come to each other's aid and upload any confrontations to the internet to be viewed by the public. I will post this thread on the 1st (or 2nd) of each month regardless of participation until Obama is out of office. This is not about being macho or a badass. It's about a very primal principle: gun stops violence. It's about meaning no when you say no.

- Guns are for defense only. Civilians do not take law into their own hands. A deadly weapon may only be used to prevent the loss of life, liberty or property or for the purposes of target practice or hunting.
How many LEO’s are there in your area? If a handful a week go out and don’t come back how many weeks til they are all gone? There are on!y so many and they cannot be easily or quickly replaced.
You are a psychological victim of the system because you assign supernatural powers to basically mediocre people. They wear a uniform and drive around in cars that say police on the side. Do you know what that makes them? TARGETS. EASY TARGETS.
The US. Military has failed to conquer and subjegate a bunch of 7th Century raghead barbarians with 3rd grade educations and homemade IED’s. What do you think the American guys with all kinds of engineering knowledge and college degrees can cook up in their workshops? The US. Military’s worst nightmare is that they have to try to impose martial !aw on 50 sovereign states many with organized militias that report only to the Governor. Not to mention the unorganized militias. It is logistically impossible to accomplish.

They are a bunch of ragtag bureaucrats in the DHS, BLM,FBI etc. That have been armed up with tactical gear but for the most part don’t have a clue. Its the gang that couldn’t shoot straight.
Ask yourself if the guy who could not put together a working website to sign up for healthcare is suddenly going to show up with a credible force to take control of most of a continent of highly pizzed off heavily armed citizens. Its not going to happen.

This entire thread has been about preventing, as you say, “guns and bullets” by using “communication and logistics.” Georgia Girl’s entire argument on this thread has been there’s nothing to be concerned about. I have successfully criticized her about a defiant government, a complicate military, a compliant law enforcement, a reluctant citizenry. But you two go back to what you’re doing since there’s nothing to see here. So sorry to disturb you.
I will admit I haven’t read the whole thread, but when someone starts pulling the ‘what about’s, and ‘what if’s it’s a pretty good indicator of where they’re coming from.
Doubly so for ‘closed mind’ing.

Yes, I came to the realization that we were obviously electing to continue on toward socioeconomic collapse. With that knowledge, I accepted that preparation for that event was the only logical thing to do.
Eventually, fiscal irresponsibility has it’s consequences, and there is no escaping the results in perpetuity - eventually one must “pay the piper”.
JMO, but I think we already passed the point of no return, but I hope that I’m wrong, and everything just gets straightened out. Meantime, continue to prepare and be of service to my local community and friends.
No you had to let me go because I have a superior grasp of reality and a better understanding of the psyche of the American people and political structure than you do. I also have common sense and personal knowledge about the current preparedness of at least the South to deal with a lawless President who might attempt to declare martial law and suspend the Constitution. It is simply not doable.

This is a common mistake. I'm from Sidney, Ohio, not Sydney, Australia. Lots of people get my home confused with the other place.
While in the Air Force I spent several years dealing with issues of counterinsurgency. Later I decided a book written from the perspective of the insurgent was needed. I hope people who need this one find it useful.
I never said not to prepare. The South is prepared now. I said martial law in the US is logistically impossible for one thing. This isn’t Germany. To try to compare a tiny country like Germany with a population that bears no cultural resemblance to the US is just silly.
I also never said Obama wouldn’t like to try it. I just said he has no way to accomplish it. Obama wanted to send troops to the Bundy Ranch and the joint chiefs said noooooo! They are not stupid. They value their lives.
The other thing I have never said is that we won’t have CWII. I actually believe and have said numerous times that CWII will be difficult to avoid in our lifetime. There’s martial law and then there’s CWII and if your screen name is accurate you must know the difference.
Could you share with us some specific details on how the South is prepared to prevent or repel a civil war and martial law? I’d really like to be schooled on how it’s done and would find it very reassuring. Please be specific in telling us about things you’re personally involved with in prepping your community to maintain civility and quality of life. Avoid relaying any hearsay or general theories.
Obviously you have not read my posts as I have already outlined for you what to expect.
Based on the totality of your comments on this thread you are woefully unprepared psychologically and physically to resist govt tyranny so it appears the rest of us will have to take care of business while you hide under your bed crying woe is me. You don’t seem to grasp the fact that the US population allows the government to exist and if necessary can and will replace it with a new government.
