BRISTOL, Conn. ESPN announced that it has fired network analyst and former Boston Red Sox pitcher Curt Schilling following his comments on Facebook about transgender people.
In a statement released Wednesday, ESPN said "Curt Schilling has been advised that his conduct was unacceptable and his employment with ESPN has been terminated."
This week, Schilling reposted an image of an overweight man wearing a long blond wig and revealing women's clothing. It included the phrase: "Let him in! To the restroom with your daughter or else you're a narrow minded, judgmental, unloving, racist bigot who needs to die!!!"
Schilling added his own comments, saying, "A man is a man no matter what they call themselves" and "Now you need laws telling us differently? Pathetic."
Schilling was apparently referring to laws in several states that restrict bathroom access to transgender people.

This is why, and this is breaking news, I’m calling for the Blackhawks not to take the ice tomorrow. You know, down 3-1, make a statement. It would be a bigee.
I see nothing wrong with what he posted... ESPN needs a competing sports cable netwok... Fox Sports?
Several of my women friends are to the point that they will no longer use public restrooms unless it is absolutely necessary!
I’ve talked to long-time blue collar dems that are completely horrified at the party’s position on this. I think maybe the leadership doesn’t realize not just everyone is down with this ridiculous crap being considered some sort of civil rights struggle. They buy the gay thing to a point, but this is a bridge too far for a lot of them, at least for this cycle. A smart republican would hammer on this, make it the biggest issue you can.
Freegards
I dont bow to pc.
If some palooka starts something in the john, he or she better bring their lunch!
Im a seasoned:

and im not about to let some confused homo sapien lay me out.
LOL, trannies don’t even care about sports, while many conservatives do.
How ignorant can ESPN be over their demographics?
Where does Trump stand on these these trans-lunatic issues?
I stopped watching ESPN quite some time ago due to their PC tyranny. Ditto for the NFL Network.
Then I realized that unless you actually cut the cable, thereby starving the beast, you haven’t really had a meaningful impact.
I’ve been living without espn, nfl network and fox news for some time now and I’m none the worse off for it today.
Curt is my new hero.
I will now go on my usual rant. Cable is full of liberal trash like ESPN. The best message to send is to pull the plug. Cut the cord. Stopping letting this garbage in your home.
I have not had cable since 2007. Have not missed it.
-woof-
May I suggest someone print this on T Shirts!
I would buy a dozen.
“Je suis Curt”!
He looks like he’s been ‘copulating with those rodents’ again.
Ten years ago, even six years ago, you could not have convinced me that this “Bathroom Blitzkrieg” would be a topic of national contention that may cost you your job.
This would be a good time for a well known movie producer to make a spoof of how ridiculous it’s all become. It would have to be someone already quite wealthy, and not needing favors from the Gay Mafia in any way. What’s Mel Gibson up to these days?
If my wife enters a ladies restroom and a transgender is in there, he surely will leave, minus his real male parts!
Castration by Olde Doc Browning!
She is Sicilian!
Nope. Funny part was that I liked her cute face first, then the rack,,,
[[Several of my women friends are to the point that they will no longer use public restrooms unless it is absolutely necessary!]]
Pretty soon they own’t have to there are now outdoor urinals in some parks-
what espn needs is for a boycott to happen- the reason these peopel are getting away with htis crap is because noone boycotts them when htey do anymore- Ford and JCPenny were boycotted, and lost a hell of a lot of money- and they eventually backed off their gay agendas- but nowadays- noone even bothers boycotting anymore-
FR should have a list of people who sign petitions declaring we will NOT support these gay agenda loving businesses any more- and we will spread the word that these businesses are INTOLERANT of the vast majority of Americans!
Still not gay....LOL
