In the wake of Donald Trump’s being shut out in Colorado — final delegate count: Ted Cruz, 34; Trump, 0 — his fans have formed virtual mobs, and on Sunday a particularly passionate Twitter user tweeted out the home address and phone number of Steve House, chairman of the Colorado GOP.
House’s personal information has been retweeted more than 1,100 times. He says he’s received some 3,000 phone calls, most of them uncomplimentary:
Meanwhile, the same Trump partisan also tweeted information for the state’s national committeewoman, Lily Nuñez, and committeeman, George Leing. Of course, the brave Twitter user in question did all of this anonymously, and lots of other brave people have applauded — also anonymously.
The unsavory Trump fans in question appear to be multiplying: Something similar is already afoot in Indiana, which hasn’t even voted yet. Kyle Babcock, an at-large delegate selected at one of this weekend’s nine congressional-district conventions, made the mistake of explaining to the Indianapolis Star that he would not back Trump, because he believes Cruz stands a better chance against Hillary Clinton in November.

BTW, you can keep telling yourself over and over that the Colorado "caucus" was completely fair and legitimate, and blame Trump for not courting voters there. But you can't make people blind to the truth or facts. CO GOP rules set in place last August were supposed to leave delegates unbound so that they could vote for whom they want at the national convention. Clearly, what happened in CO was underhanded and does not reflect the will of the voters. I could go on, but you obviously don't care about facts or truth, you just want to insult people and call them stupid for objecting to a rigged process. You are a lot like your candidate.
Do you seriously believe that if the people's choice candidate is taken out of the election, that Cruz will sail through to the presidency? If you do, you are deluded. The media only leaves him alone because he is in second place. The moment he steps out in front, the media will destroy him. And it isn't like he hasn't given them plenty of ammo to do so.

The rules were that the delegates in CO would not be bound going into the national convention. So, right from the get-go, the people of CO had no choice. Given those rules, which were in place since last August, Trump made the strategic decision not to campaign there. You can't blame him for shunning CO, when the rules made campaigning there pointless. I do not know what happened so that suddenly, the CO republican party insiders (not the voting public) all of a sudden decided to bind the delegates--obviously, the situation is extremely irregular. Was the Trump campaign even told about this sudden decision to bind the delegates, or was it told in time to prepare? I doubt it. This was a naked delegate-grab.
Now, what I cannot know is how much input Cruz had into this delegate assignment process. Maybe he was not intimately involved, and he'll just happily accept the result (he is a lawyer, after all, a member of a profession for whom the ends justify any means). However, it reflects really badly on him. If he was not complicit in what happened in CO, the most honest thing he could do is distance himself from it and denounce it, while making some statement about supporting the will of the voters. But he isn't honest, is he? It is this dishonesty, as much as anything, that has turned people like myself, who once did not care much one way or the other about Trump vs. Cruz, into firm Trump supporters. No way I could ever vote for Cruz now.
A: I do not have any evidence that that claim in the story is true. Given the shenanigans that went on in CO, it is likely an invention made up by someone who does not want to be called out for his dishonesty.
B: People’s addresses are public record. If you don’t believe me, look yourself up on Google. You’ll probably be able to find your address pretty quickly.
C: I was responding to the article’s portraying people as immature crybabies for complaining about the CO debacle. Had what happened in CO actually been fair and by-the-rules, no one would have a basis to complain. But the GOP in CO openly cheated and installed delegates for Cruz without the voters’ input, and in contradiction to the rules they themselves set in August. So, yes, Trump and his supporters have a legitimate complaint.

Most especially the subject of his treatment of women. His decades of business experience and development and advancement of women through his own businesses and Trump organization demonstrates the opposite. The people on this forum may represent or misrepresent their favored candidate. Some just parrot mindless opinions about how friends and family perceive a candidate and no one really cares. Just click, next.
Anyone that a candidate hires to represent him is likely not on FR. They would be on social media linked to millions of mainstream American voters. On FR, unless a poster links their opinion to facts that I can research independently, I tend to ignore the opinion. However, there are certain names here that I repeatedly search for their comments because they are smart and well sourced. I have learned a great deal from their viewpoints and I value their opinions at face value.
Personal attacks are part of politics and public forums, just don’t respond to that and they stop. I don’t hold any candidate responsible for what some guy he’s never met says or writes in a forum. If a Bush supporter hung his neighbor’s cat out of political spite, how would that be Jeb’s fault?
