Rest in Peace Big Guy.
Always wondered how the cowbell lady turned out. Hope she had a happy life. She certainly seemed to enjoy the wrestling matches.
RIP.
Sad news. Not as much of a pro wrestling fan as I used to be but my favorite wrestler today is Blackjack Mulligan’s grandson Bray Wyatt. Love his finishing move, “Sister Abigail” and his work on the microphone. Mulligan’s daughter married Mike Rotunda.
Condolences to the family.
Mulligan, one of the toughest guys in wrestling. Had a short temper too: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Xrs7q2337Kc
Loved Blackjack back in the daya of Mod-Atlantic Championship Rasslin.
I met Mulligan several times when he was running with Ric Flair back in the Mid-Atlantic days.
Big, quiet and gruff looking.
I would always speak but the most he would do was grunt.
I never pressed the issue.
Too scared to.
I eventually made it to Eagle Pass, TX (yes, a real place) but never did find no Double Cross Ranch.
I think that’s his tag-team partner, Blackjack Lanza.
