1200 is not 1237 which is not 50% + 1.
Deceptive Donnie doesn’t get to subvert the majority rule which has been the requirement for 150 years.
Are we supposed to change the rule just for Donnie?
“Look at Ted’s must-have percent for remaining delegates.”
Similarly situated, I don’t think even George Washington could get 94% of the remaining delegates. Ain’t gonna happen.
On the flip side, Donald needs 64% of the remaining delegates to clinch the nomination, but after New York, that percentage drops. More scary for Cruz, because he’ll need even more than 94% after New York.
Hint: the unassigned go to Cruz. That will help get your percentages correct
Charles, you know better. Trump won Arizona with approximately twice as many votes as Cruz. How will the remaining voters react when they realize that all of Trump’s delegates are Cruz operatives? This is a despicable tactic. That Cruz would try such a thing shows that they hold the wishes of the voters in contempt. I believe that this will be viewed very negatively by the people who are still waiting to vote, almost half of the country. This was a stupid move that plays into the ongoing narrative that Cruz is a liar and now a thief.
That is my position. Hillary is evil. The only politician more evil is The One-eyed Jack from Blacklight, Nv
Fruits? Nuts? Flakes? Is he from California?
I’m not talking about taking any of Trump’s bound delegates. I’m talking about the combined totals of Cruz’s delegates, plus those of Rubio, Kasich, Carson, Bush, Fiorina, et al. who prefer Cruz over Trump, plus unbound delegates who prefer Cruz over Trump. If they, altogether, end up in Cruz’s column, then Cruz wins fair and square. But if those “other” delegates decide they prefer Trump over Cruz, well, then that could put Trump over the top, and he wins fair and square. We’ll see.
Thank you for your thoughtful and well reasoned response.
You’re right, because two reporting places on the internet now reveal Ted needs in excess of 95% of the remaining delegates. Thank you.
They are attempting to nullify the vote.
Who does that sort of thing?
Conservatives?
LMAO
So you’re saying 48% of the voting Republicans should have their vote nullified by 35% of the voting Repbulicans, and 17% of unbound delegates.
LOL.
A “Conservate” urging voter nullification?
Me too. Thank you. That was a close one.
I don’t think they will.
But Ted getting 2/3rds of Trumps number of delegates does?
Man you folks are sure a logical bunch?
After New York, Trump needs about 50% of the remaining vote., and the big North East elections follow on the 26th.
He’ll be down around 30% after that.
We’ll see how it goes.
You need a few hints of your own.
Trump getting 48% of the popular vote and just shy of the delegates needed, if he doesn’t outright make it, should be the nominee.
He was the favorite of nearly 50% of the voters.
Here you are advocating voter nullification of the largest voting block.
How very Conservative of you. /s
Let me help you with your math, because your calculations are retarded.
There are a total of 882 delegates left.
Trump has 743. Cruz has 517.
Trump needs 494 of the 882, which is 56%. By the way, he’s only won 46.7% of the delegates so far, so even that’s a tall order.
Cruz needs 720 of the 882, which is 82%.
I know you guys want to speed up the so-called “elimination”, but sorry pal, you’re going to have wait until June 7 to see if this is resolved.
Also, you may want to be aware of the fact there are currently approximately 150 unbound delegates out there still to be assigned, which are undoubtedly mostly going to Cruz.
“Trump getting 48% of the popular vote and just shy of the delegates needed, if he doesnt outright make it, should be the nominee.
He was the favorite of nearly 50% of the voters.”
Where in the hell are you getting your numbers?
You seriously need some new sources.
Deceptive Donnie has about 48% of the delegate count. That is not the popular vote. He got a lot of those delegates when there were multiple candidates, and candidates like Rubio, Kasich, and others cost Cruz delegates, because he could not reach certain thresholds due to the spreading out of the vote.
In every national poll I’ve seen that’s actually been between Cruz and Trump, Cruz beats the crap out of Trump. Trump benefited from an anti-Trump majority being spread out among several candidates.
The popular vote is only about 35% for Donnie.
There is about 65% of the vote that did not vote for Donnie.
He is not the favorite among 50% of the voters. In fact, he has a 65% unfavorable rating, and most polls show that he would lose to Clinton by over 10 points.
Shall I go on?
Every argument you make against Trump, is multiplied on a man that has two thirds of his level of delegates.
How do you get 48% of the delegates?
You get them by more people voting for you.
What part of that do you not grasp?
“How do you get 48% of the delegates?
You get them by more people voting for you.”
Where did you learn math?
Do I have to get the popular vote numbers for you, too? Trump has 35-40% of the popular vote.
Your logic is insane.
You can get 100% of the delegates with 50% of the popular vote in some states. Donnie did that in Arizona.
Any more brilliant words of wisdom?
