Cruz Campaign in Meltdown Mode as Heidi Goes MIA, Cruz fails to Sue or Actually Deny Cheating Rumors
Right Side Broadcasting ^ | 3/29/2016 | RSBN

RSBN is doing its best to keep you updated in real time about what certainly seems to be the effective end of the Cruz campaign, as the multiple-mistress scandal continues to linger and fester.

As of this afternoon, March 29, the Cruz campaign appears to be spinning out of control, if not already finished. It may be just a matter of time.

Not that Big Media is particularly doing much to do anything but bury the story. The trumpophobic media of course is relying on Cruz to remain in the race as its last hope of possibly preventing Trump from receiving the 1,237 delegates required for the Republican nomination.

The big news of the last day or so, make no mistake, is that Heidi Cruz has gone MIA. She canceled her New Jersey campaign events that were scheduled this week, including a fundraiser in Morris County scheduled for Wednesday.

Additionally, she has not tweeted since Friday, the day after the Cruz-infidelity story broke in the National Enquirer.

Additionally, yesterday Cruz added suspicion by hamhandedly attempting to avoid a question on the infidelity issue. Instead, he figuratively hid behind the skirt of Carly Fiorina.

When Cruz was asked by a reporter from DailyMail.com yesterday to tell “on the record that you’ve never been unfaithful to your wife,” Fiorina awkwardly jumped in, with a subsequent exchange going as follows:

Fiorina: “If I may…” Reporter: “No, I’m sorry. I asked the Senator that question.” Fiorina: “Well, I’m gonna comment, OK?” Reporter: “Do you have first-hand knowledge of his marriage?” Fiorina: “I’m gonna comment. This is an example of the media playing to Donald Trump’s tune.”

Fiorina then tried her best to change the subject, saying “Donald trump is a serial philanderer, by his own admission. And in a week when we have had a terrorist attack in Brussels, a shooting on Capitol Hill, the president of the United States in the baseball stands with Raul Castro, and insisting that he be photographed in front of a portrait of Che Guevara with the two Castro brothers, we are talking about a scurrilous, ridiculous piece in the National Enquirer. Why do you all dance to Donald Trump’s tune? Let’s talk about the issues, please.’

Given another attempt to answer the specific question, Cruz responded with “Sir, I recognize that you love going into the gutter with these kind of … [several parties talking at once].”

Cruz did say, thereafter, that “the National Enquirer story is complete garbage. It is total lies. It was planted by Donald Trump’s henchmen.”

Cruz of course was using legalese there, which could have of course referred to any National Enquirer story. He did not answer the reporter’s actual question about his faithfulness.

As Trump emphasized during his appearance on The Savage Nation yesterday, it was Marco Rubio’s campaign which had been peddling the Cruz-mistress story for some time, and Trump himself had nothing to do with its promulgation. In fact, Trump (who of course wasn’t there 24/7 and thus cannot be entirely sure that there was no infidelity) expressed to Savage that he thought the allegations were “garbage.” Note, as was the case with Cruz also using the term “garbage” to describe the allegations, the use of the word “garbage” does not necessarily mean that one thinks the allegations are untrue.

Meanwhile, the Cruz campaign has resorted to attempting to deflect attention from its candidate’s meltdown by playing up the ridiculous-to-the-point-of-almost-hilarious charge of “battery” in Jupiter, Florida against Trump campaign manager Corey Lewandowski. This “battery” consisted of a slight inadvertent brush-up against publicity-seeking, now-former Breitbart reporter Michelle Fields when both parties were on a crowded stage. Cruz’s campaign manager Alice Stewart attempted to exploit the bogus charge against Lewandowski, saying, apparently not jokingly: “Unfortunately, this abusive behavior seems to be part of the culture of the Trump campaign.”

As for the division of the Cruz campaign know as The Glenn Beck Program, Beck said yesterday that he’ll drop Ted Cruz “like a hot potato” if the sex scandal allegations turn out to be true.

Beck added that “But if you’re a serial guy, like five of them during this campaign, that’s insane, a totally different person han we think Ted Cruz is…” But, laughingly, Beck pointed out that Cruz “doesn’t have enough game. We’re not talking Tom Cruise. It’s Ted Cruz, have you watched him?”

Beck has taken in recent weeks to referring to Cruz as the “anointed one,” beseeching Christian voters that it’s their religious due to vote for Cruz.

Some Cruz supporters are certainly troubled by the way the story is playing out. According to Tanna, one now-former Cruz supporter: “He’s so done. His entire campaign has been based on being a moral elitist being above and more GODLY than the rest of us and I took the bait. Shame on me. Last time I fall for that preacher crap.”

In sum, whether the adage that “where there’s smoke, there’s fire” applies to the Cruz-infidelity story is, for now, for you to decide. We at RSBN suspect the soap opera known as the Cruz Campaign will be providing a final answer very shortly.

The question was have you ever cheated on your wife, to which he never answered.
yes He does state the NE is garbage, tabloid trash as well as blaming Trump with no proof, but he should have answered that question and put it to bed and he has not , nor has he even threatened to sue or given the FEC an explanation about the 500 grand .

Yes I agree that this will be over soon. No denial and Heidi has fled the scene. Teddy looks like a deer in headlights instead of a faithful spouse who has been maligned by a false story. In short he looks guilty as sin.

You are 100% correct. “

Thank you.

“If Cruz wins, Hillary gets the presidency.”

I don’t see why this is so hard for freepers to understand.

Go google an electoral map and fill in which states you think Cruz will win and which states you think Hillary will win, and see for yourself.

Unless your a complete twit, or completely dishonest, you’ll see that it’s not even a contest.

“... he won’t win any state north of the Mason Dixon line.”

Right. He won’t win FL, and he actually might lose Arkansas.

It’s not even close.

#83 you keep your little Trump Republic Guard list. When trump screws you on every issue you fools though he stood for I am going to enjoy outting every one of you trump butt sniffers.

He’s already told you he will “everything is negotiable. Megyn”. You fools are too star struck to see it.

I’m enjoying how beta-male teddy has run... into the arms... of the Uniparty.

(I phrased that with all due respect to U2’s Bullet the Blue Sky.)

One thing that we have not seen is “The Thing” video on Ted Cruz we were supposed to have rock our world on Monday

Well, T Day has come and gone and not even Anonymous could dredge anything up

Too bad about that too because Ted Cruz is losing the Adultery vote big time and he could use all the support he can get.

His republican opponent is a serial womanizer has publicly bragged about all his extramarital affairs and going through “ women a little on the younger side” like his Boeing goes through Jet A fuel.

His likely Democrat opponent is an aggressive , butch Bull Dyke who has gone through more women than Bill Clinton. Her live in female love is a Muslim Brotherhood mole who has serious national security problems. We know for a fact that Hillary has committed Adultery at least once because third party DNA tests show her daughter is not related to Bill Clinton. Her husband Bill Clinton is Bill Clinton which says it all. Bill is a proves sexual predator who's latest in a long line of sex scandals revolves around flying to a private Island on a pedophiles private jet to enjoy group sex with underage sex slaves. I seem to recall Bill was also impeached and almost removed from office for adultery

Bernie Sanders is just plain weird and creepy about everything including sex

John Kaisch was implicated via DNA evidence in Gary Condit’s exclusive, congressional members only kinky bi sexual group sex club that was exposed by a terrified airline stewardess fearing for life after fellow sex club member Chandra Levy turned up missing and was later found murdered

Seems to me Ted Cruz is running a pretty distant fifth in the race to win the adultery vote sweep stakes in this Presidential election

...no one remembers Grover Cleveland.

Sure we do. He pitched for the Phillies back in the early 1900s.

Everyone better wake up and accept who is doing this. It’s the gopE. They’re taking down both at the same time. When it’s over they’ll say “See? Candidates that are to the extreme right cannot win.”

I don’t have to hope for anything, nor was I—Cruz delivered it himself. The reason I am gloating a bit is the pro-Cruz folks on this forum have been completely manic, foaming at the mouth in their comments about Trump. Trump appears to be the good guy in the race.

RE: but any of his staunch supporters who insist that this infidelity story is a fabrication ought not bet anything they’re willing to lose on on him being vindicated.

I can’t speak for other Ted Cruz supporters but for myself.

I am not a supporter to the extent that I will defend anything he does ( not when I believe he is wrong ).

If as you say, the National Enquirer has solid evidence to show, I have been asking for it since the story first broke out.

Let’s at least have the names of ALL of the women so that we can ascertain the truth or falsity of the claims.

All we have thus far are Amanda Carpenter and Katrina Pierson who have both DENIED allegations. They have both come out in interviews.

If they have evidence that these two women are lying, well and good, let’s have them.

But for me personally, at this point in time, what we have are but rumors. We do know that Trump and the NE CEO, David Pecker have been friends for YEARS.

See this article from last year:

http://nymag.com/daily/intelligencer/2015/10/trumps-alliance-with-the-national-enquirer.html?mid=twitter-share-di#

Not sure if I should hold my breath.

And I am a Trump supporter.

That’s just it, he hasn’t been legally defamed (libeled) yet and that is my whole point. You can’t just sue because someone prints a story you don’t like. The story would need to meet specific criteria to even consider filing suit. Those criteria simply don’t exist here.

We have a 1st Amendment that protects the press, particularly where politicians are involved. In the case of any public figure, there is a very high burden of proof. A public figure has to be able to prove “actual malice” on the part of the National Enquirer. I’ve read dozens of cases that delve into the fine detail of what constitutes “actual malice” but that discussion is beyond a comment box. Suffice it to say that is a very high legal standard that would be nearly impossible to meet, so much so that it would be reckless for Ted Cruz to file suit. He’s not a liberal, so I would hope he respects the legal system too much for such nonsense.
