RE: but any of his staunch supporters who insist that this infidelity story is a fabrication ought not bet anything theyre willing to lose on on him being vindicated.
I can’t speak for other Ted Cruz supporters but for myself.
I am not a supporter to the extent that I will defend anything he does ( not when I believe he is wrong ).
If as you say, the National Enquirer has solid evidence to show, I have been asking for it since the story first broke out.
Let’s at least have the names of ALL of the women so that we can ascertain the truth or falsity of the claims.
All we have thus far are Amanda Carpenter and Katrina Pierson who have both DENIED allegations. They have both come out in interviews.
If they have evidence that these two women are lying, well and good, let’s have them.
But for me personally, at this point in time, what we have are but rumors. We do know that Trump and the NE CEO, David Pecker have been friends for YEARS.
See this article from last year:
Not sure if I should hold my breath.
HAve you never heard that correlation does not equal causation?
I’m a Trump supporter and can’t stand Cruz. But if anyone should be talking to lawyers about a lawsuit it’s the women whose pictures were plastered on the front page. And the NE could never get away with the defense “We didn’t identify the women.” Anyone who knew them could tell who they were.
I’m willing to bet the National Enquirer has already got the Ted Cruz infidelity story arc story-boarded for the next several weekly issues.
Speaking for yourself, that’s one vote to the National Enquirer to reveal all the salacious details they know about their accusations against Ted Cruz.
Speaking for the National Enquirer’s circulation base, there’s more than a half million readers of their tabloid — at least some percentage of them are attracted to this story as the evidence dribbles out.
