Joe Kindig, Jr., a York (Pa.) Quaker who has never fired a gun, has assembled the world’s largest collection of Kentucky rifles.

I think Mr Davis sold his enormous collection to the state for one dollar provided they build a museum for it.

To a kid it was sensational to see all the rifles and shotguns lining the walls and the stuff in the lobby like Japanese crew served weapons, hangman hoods and nooses, desperado and lawmen pistols, jailbird shivs and so forth.

J. M. Davis had the largest private collection in the world.

They have quite a history here in York. One of the 2 guys I do firearm collection purchases/sales with, is an old friend of their family.

Here's one for you. A 1911 collection from four years ago. One wonders what it looks like now.

Well, since you like .45's....

Oh, yeah. Saliva on the keyboard. I keep saying that I wouldn’t have one if someone sent it to me for free, hoping that somebody will prove me a liar...

I wanted to spend the day with my guns, but it was great weather for fishing, so . . .

It is always possible to combine your recreational pursuits....
