Responding to a National Enquirer story alleging he had multiple extramarital affairs, Texas Sen. Ted Cruz on Friday blamed the report on Donald Trump and "his henchmen."
Cruz said the report was untrue.
He called Trump "a rat" and said there is no level to which he won't stoop.
"The question that people are asking is how low will Donald go," Cruz said.
Cruz accused Trump of being a coward who has problems with "strong women."
Cruz was in Oshkosh Friday morning at Lakeside Plastics for a campaign stop.
Later speaking to reporters, he went on the attack against Trump and his shoot-from-the-hip style.
"It will not be sufficient for a president. He will send tweets at Putin," Cruz said.

Poor Ted, this story is from The National Enquirer, not The Donald. You need to get more honest advisors to keep you up to date ... Glen Beck is not a good source of anything!
Ted should have just repudiated the ad and said no go. He blew it obviously, trying to juice it some.

The idea behind the Melaina attack ad now seems to be a desperate move to frame the narrative for a story they knew was coming out.
Who has to be “behind” anything? Cruz was “behind” the women, he was grabbing their “behinds”.
Now it looks like he was banging broads like a pimp with a week to live.
Too much to be a lie. Too many women, too many lose ends. Hard to fabricate five damn women! If it is a lie, then National Enquirer is done, and Cruz wins the presidency.
The oligarchy The Donald wants to oppose as President is working really hard to do just that, get another criminal Clinton in the White House for the final devastation of a once God-given Republic.

But at least two involved in the campaign? Don’t you think that is highly unlikely? If true, it will be the scandal of scandals.
Two of those women already have. One is Katrina Pierson, who works for Trumps campaign. The other is Amanda Carpenter, who just called it “100 percent false SMUT” in an interview on CNN. She and the CNN commentator called out the Trump campaign person who started trying to peddle the Enquirer story.

Of course they’re not, they’re too busy defending a guy who is shameless about his lies and extramarital affairs.
It has to be comforting to Trump’s supporters, hoping all this talk is true, that way they can get out of the business of pretending that Trump has core values beyond what is good for him.

But, thank you. I started using it when there were still a few more in the race. I hate watching Freepers attacking one another, name-calling and giving the dems so much ammunition!
I may support Trump, but really hope that this story is not true.
I was still in the Walker camp at that point, hadn’t switched to Cruz yet. Neil Bush was the last straw for me as well.

It is not comforting to me. I want the story to be false. I may support Trump but was ready to vote for Cruz if he won the nomination.
I would not be surprised if this story actually started with the gope in order to destroy both Trump and Cruz. Then, who rides in on the white horse? Romney? Ryan? Jeb?

If this is true then Ted Cruz is the biggest ass ever and I’m a fool for donating to his campaign. If true, he needs to come clean so Trump can get delegates needed.
Except that this story has been in the works for months, and even Limbaugh had to give up on the attempt to make the Heidi Cruz into something it is not.
