In its locked position it will be virtually undetectable because it hides in plain sight.
Is that a pistol in your pocket, or are you just... carrying an iPhone?
The Ideal Conceal handgun has made waves for what its maker calls an ingenious design that looks exactly like a smartphone when in the locked position.
Ideal Conceal says on its website that, indeed, hardly anybody will notice it: Smartphones are EVERYWHERE, so your new pistol will easily blend in with todays environment. In its locked position it will be virtually undetectable because it hides in plain sight.
The Ideal Conceal weapon is a .380-caliber derringer. Two bullets in two barrels. While the gun is still patent-pending, Its expected to be available by mid-2016 for $395 each.
From soccer moms to professionals of every type, this gun allows you the option of not being a victim, the company says. Most threats will occur in less than a 30 range. Ease and speed of deployment will mean the difference in the outcome. With the Ideal Conceal pistol you can be quick on the draw stopping a threat effectively and immediately.

I’ve heard of guns that look like walking sticks.
I’m pretty sure I saw English actress Diana Rigg and her partner, Patrick Macnee use them on The Avengers.
The ability to incorporate a firearm into a cell phone was announced to our agency several years ago by the FBI. Shootings by police of civilians with cell phones didn’t increase.
I do recommend that when you hear “Stop, drop the weapon,” you respond with intellect. It may not appear to be “just a phone” to them. In a hurry?
BTW, I’m a big proponent of civilian photography and photojournalism. I’m a citizen journalist myself.
Good find.
Here’s a discussion on FB about it.
Jim Peters Wonder what the ATF will think about this thing... I thought they generally disapproved of firearms disguised as other things...

Jim Peters So it isn’t when it is closed up even though it has two rounds chambered? I’m a Life NRA, Safari Club & OGCA Member... so I’m on your side... but I remeber reading about the wallet guns or something like that a while back and how they were categorized...

IDEAL Conceal - patent pending
IDEAL Conceal - patent pending Wallet gun etc are fired “through the wallet” or through their disguise. Folding grips are not new and neither are guns that can be compared to smartphone like Taurus Curve. http://northamericanarms.com/index.php/ghg-lc.html THANKS FOR YOUR SUPPORT

My small handgun is a Russian Makarov. It certainly looks like a gun :-) Bought three of them for 75.00 each a few years back.
Robby Coltrane used one as an ex-KGB agent in “The Worls Is Not Enough”.
You’ll shoot your mouth off!
As the biker said ... if you got a twenty dollar head, buy a twenty dollar helmet. The Makarovs I’ve seen are sweet. I carry Sig.
I had one of those. Or took it from a doctor’s kid, I can’t remember, but it was cool.
Then there going the other way . . . a cell phone that looks like a gun:
I love how the grip covers the trigger in conceal mode to prevent accidental firing.
That’s them! If I just could have persuaded Dad to install an ejector seat in his car, I would’ve had it made!
Just point at the perp's crotch, and you won't even have to fire once.
I can carry an 11 ounce, 5 shot .357 mag revolver (S&W 360PD) in my front or back pocket. I feel nervous at only having 5 shots. I am going to buy a derringer one day, but with just 2 shots, it wont be for self defense.
Poke the tiger. Damn, I’d need a Colt Commander to support my iPhone 6s+
I had a VW that left an oil slick, but it wasn’t supposed to and did it all the time.
Gas up, add oil. I didn’t have to change it very often.
Can you imagine the delays if TSA gets wind of this?
Not to mention how hard it will be to get a password reset...
Lol.
Nice!
“”Ive heard of guns that look like walking sticks.”
I have a cane that hides a razor sharp sword. I doubt it’s legal, but I don’t care!
