Donald Trump donated thousands of dollars to extreme leftists in California, such as Jerry Brown and Gavin Newsom. But that was last decade, which was part of the ancient history before Trumps cathartic conversion. More recently, while conservatives were fighting the Gang of Eight amnesty bill and Obamas sanctuary nation policies, Trump donated $6,000 to Kamala Harris, the California attorney general who is, perhaps, one of the most notorious supporters of sanctuary cities in the country. In 2014, his daughter, Ivanka, also cut a $2,000 check to the queen of sanctuary cities. That was after Harris championed the despicable Trust Act, which turned the entire state of California into a sanctuary for illegals. Coupled with her activities during her first term as attorney general and her prior work as San Francisco district attorney, Harris is one of the leftists most responsible for the policies that led to the murder of Kate Steinle.
According to Fox News, Harris told local officials in 2012 they were not required to cooperate with ICE. And that was prior to passage of the Trust Act:
In 2012, California Attorney General Kamala Harris said local law enforcement are not required to determine immigration status or enforce federal immigration laws. She also said civil immigration detainers ICE requests to hold a suspect are voluntary. The entire state also operates under the Trust Act, which allows illegal immigrants charged with minor crimes to be released after posting bail or serving time.
Yet, Donald Trump, who doesnt even live in California, found a need to contribute to this woman DESPITE her years of activism on behalf of sanctuary cities.

Trump supporters please look at this new evidence - this was in California not New York so Trump didn't need to support her for business reasons. Contributions like this support my belief that Trump is a fraud.
Remember that Ben Carson recently said that Trump didn't really believe "some of the more outlandish things [Trump] says". With a history of contributions to the queen of sanctuary cities, I have to wonder if Trump's immigration policy is just one of those "outlandish" things that Trump doesn't really believe in.
Trump, one of the greatest conman ever!
Flexible.

But he does business in California.
Your hit pieces aren’t working.
Evolving.
He donated to liberals and republicans, even Ted Cruz....for the zillionth time!
He’d be poor like us if as a businessman he refused to do business with half the country!
Sad thing is, no matter how much sense you make, no matter how many facts you post, people here will tell you that you are liberal scum for posting sense and facts....
We are being conned. Not even by the best. Just conned. Sad to see.
She just enforces it
I thought Cruz BOTS weren't low information voters
Do you really think I care about this? Are you a Cruz supporter? Does it not bother you how many incidents there have been of his campaign backstabbing and using trickery...and then Cruz denies having anything to do with it...just before he says the leadership in a campaign bears culpability (violence at Chicago rally).
Doesn’t apply to Cruz though....so let me choose a generous big-hearted man who made a donation to whatever over a sociopath liar.
Yep.
Disturbing. But big business exists by paying off government officials, whether Democrat or Republicans. So that’s what he did, legally. It’s the cost of doing business, and yes, everybody does it, of necessity.
6k. out of 11 billion.
i’m sure he delves DEEP into every donation he signs off on.
that would be about .00004 percent of his worth. He really went all in!
Yet, Donald Trump, who doesnt even live in California
I knew somebody who was a real estate developer. He told me that when asked, he always made contributions to politicians running for office. He did not like most of them, but paid to “stay out of trouble.” It is shake down money.
Is that you Glen Beck????
I am not a Trump supporter, but I would rather know how consistent Trump has been since making his conversion to a Republican, and self-identified conservative.
Even President Reagan underwent a transformation in political ideology over the years.
I believe Cruz has been much more consistent than Trump, but let’s see the fair reporting.
Too late. I voted for trump this morning in Florida. Better luck next time haters.
