I have been on Free Republic for almost 15 years and almost never post anything. Love to lurk and post occasional response. In mid-February I changed my preference for President from Cruz to Trump. I've seen many others who have made a similar change in the past month.
I'm curious to learn those who have changed from Trump to another candidate, and why. I hope I have posted this correctly. If not, I apologize beforehand.
uhhhhh where did you find this statement by CRUZ?? totally OUT of CONTEXT...
And yet, it is you who is smearing Trump supporters.
Lots of us here. Just tired of being damned by fellow FReepers for not pledging my allegiance to Trump. :-/
I changed from being for Trump with an open mind when Trump first announced, to being solidly for Trump within about a month of that announcement. And I’ve never once looked back. The other candidates can’t hold a candle to Trump.
They aren’t qualified to be President. They don’t understand the trade issues, or the economy, or how to run large organizations. And they don’t lead.
LOL resorting to personal attacks since you can not refute my points? I am done with you.
That “hair” lie says volumes about Trump. Dishonesty is a character flaw that permeates every aspect of a person.
In DONEald’s defense, he is somewhat forthcoming about not being anything conservative, the lemmings just can’t listen until its too late.
Freeper since 04. I was supporting Cruz until early in the fall and decide Trump was my first choice and Cruz close second. Stayed that way until January. In January it became Teump with Cruz a distant second. After the past couple of weeks and Cruz’s sellout to the GOPe and failing to go after BLM and Moveon, it is just Trump. I see nothing but the GOPe in the move to put Neil Bush in the campaign. I tried to overlook his main contributors to the SuperPac but it is clear his strings are being pulled. Too bad because I would have supported him in the general election.
“It is odd that we can blame Obamas rhetoric for Ferguson, etc. But Trump should be held blameless.”
Great point.
Agreed.
I changed from Trump to Cruz months ago when it became apparent that Trump was nothing more than a toxic concoction of ego and mouth.
sure is a misrepresentation of what was actually said by CRUZ... sickening that so many are being brainwashed and led into a pit by this man.
You are swilling the Kool Aid. Cruz laid no such blame.
No freeper should dam you for not pledging allegiance to Trump. And I find it hard to believe any have.
You don’t have to pledge allegiance to vote for Trump. And if you don’t want to vote for Trump, then that’s your right, regardless of what it makes me think of you.
Pick the ineligible candidate of your choice or even Kasick. It’s your right to lose as you please and even coldly turn your back on Americans that need jobs in the process.
LOL /condecending mode off
I think you nailed it.
The groundswell needs to be relieved. And I do agree.
Constipation needs to be relieved also, but we can all agree that explosive diarrhea isn’t the way to go...it causes dehydration, public embarrassment, and in the end, a big stinking mess of crap everywhere. No, a more tiny bit more gentle laxative will still do the job, but without the mess, embarrassment and unhealthy side effects.
Moral of the story: Trump is the explosive diarrhea and Cruz is the gentle laxative.
Is there some sort of Freeper Pulitzer for the most Epic metaphor ever? Lol. My Apologies if you were eating. ;)
Never a supporter of Ron Paul. Where do the Cruz people come off putting down Trump supporters in such a way. Most of us were for Cruz before Trump came into the race. Does that mean all those Cruz supporters were for Ron Paul.
Cruz has never supported the BLM, and in fact has been vocal about returning federal lands to the states as contemplated in the Constitution.
Let’s just say “I’m glad the Texas primary is over” and leave it at that. I’ll have no part in the angst or gnashing of teeth of late.
Whoever the nominee is will have to re-earn my vote in the general. ;o)
It’s funny how Cruz supporters won’t admit that Cruz showed himself as a cheap opportunist when he cucked for BLM.
I had Cruz as my number 2, Kasich 3. Now I may vote Democrat and get the real GOPe candidate.
What conservative solutions?
