I am a Trump supporter, tried and true, but had Ted Cruz last night supported Donald Trump, reminded America of the importance of the First Amendment and other liberty-associated notions, I could have easily seen myself supporting him if Trump for whatever reason did not get the nomination. Now, I am more opposed to him than ever.
Trump supporters, its true, are loyal to a fault when it comes to Donald and just as loyal to those who defend and support him. Does Ted Cruz even know what an opportunity he wasted last night? It seems like Kasich, Cruz and Rubio have gotten their scripts from the gopE, probably a fruit of the Sea Island accord, and are proceeding full ahead.
Exactly! It show how incredibly stupid they are. Or worse!
And you don’t add Neil Bush who brings the rich donors who support the Bush Dynasty the lords of the GOPe establishment and the globalists, if you’re an “outsider”. The only one being outed right now is Ted Cruz for being a crony of the Bush family and the GOPe.
Cruz was my co-number 1 with Trump. I sent him several donations over the last few months.
This morning I answered one of his “donate now” emails from “Lauren” to say they can stop sending me emails as he’s been removed from my consideration list, which is down to one person now.
Last night Ted Cruz had a chance to rise above the fray, be a leader, call out the liberal thugs, and define for America the stark differences between conservatives and liberals.
Instead, he chose to fling mud. I am very disappointed. His desire to be President outweighs his principles.
The Republican Party had an opportunity to define the election last night in a way that favored their candidates. That opportunity was largely squandered.
That leaves us with only Trump to carry the day. May God bless him and guide him.
Cruz would have gotten the same treatment from the left if he was leading.
Would Ted have blamed himself?
Cruz uses the Constitution as a PR tool.
He is smart enough to push the right buttons.
Is this a game, or vote changer for you? Were you very surprised? Because I was.
I am very worried about voter fraud in OH and FL. I remember what they did to Newt in Florida. I happened to be there and you could smell the scorched earth in the air. The republican party in FL is ruthless. I don't know how much help Scott will be to Trump.
Look for Trump to take both FL and OH after what had happened in Chicago, there is a growing anger against the left right now.
Is Cruz that stupid or is something else involved?
I may not agree with what you say, but I will defend to the death your right to say it.
Attributed to Voltaire, Edmund Burke, and the quote sometimes attributed to the scholarship of Evelyn Beatrice Hall. Be that as it may, coupled with the First Amendment to the Constitution this is important. It leads to reasonable conduct and civilized behaviour with divergent groups. (Excuse the sermon).
Then Karl Rove meets with the Silicon Valley cabal. What plan was hatched there?
Then an obviously pre-organized riot was set up for Chicago last night, and Cruz/Rubio/Kasich all have the same response.
All coincidence?
Perhaps Jeb told them "Look, Trump is going down and you don't want to be anywhere near it when it happens. Don't hammer him in the debate because of what will happen next. You want to have 'clean hands' so no one can say you incited anyone to violence. If someone is going to be bombastic and insulting let Trump do it and stand out so everyone can see him for what he is". Only problem is, Trump was very calm and Presidential. Nobody could say "Wow, they were all gentlemen toward him, but he was mean and nasty. I don't want a President like that".
Perhaps the Silicon Valley cabal is helping to coordinate "Operation Trump Chaos" and that was the reason for the pow-wow.
Now, the other 3 candidates are saying "wow, there's too much chaos and danger, this is not what America is about, blah, blah, blah.
I hope you Cruz supporters have FINALLY had your blinders removed. Puh-leaze don't make any of puke by ever suggesting that Cruz is anything other than a slimy, opportunistic politician who would sell his kids into slavery if he thought it would win him an election.
They're saying much more than there's too much chaos, Rubio said this morning he didn't know if he could support Trump now because he is the author of chaos and anarchy. I believe Kasich said something similar. This is their perfect alibi for not supporting Trump after their oaths.
This was a really great reply and I read it several times for the wisdom.
“Kasich, Cruz and Rubio have gotten their scripts from the gopE, probably a fruit of the Sea Island accord, and are proceeding full ahead.”
Kasich, Cruz and Rubio are out for ONLY Kasich, Cruz and Rubio. They will abandon the script according to whatever the latest poll says. Which means they are always reacting, always on defense, while Trump steams over the horizon.
Cruz and Rubio are finished. They are defective human beings.
I agree as well. I am ashamed of Cruz.

CRUZ:
"Blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah.
Blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah.
But
in any campaign responsibility starts at the top. Any candidate is responsible for the culture of the campaign. And when you have a campaign
that disrespects the voters, when you have a campaign that affirmatively encourages violence, when you have a campaign thats facing
allegations of physical violence against members of the press, you create an environment that only encourages this sort of nasty discord.
Same here. Cruz blew it last night.
Blaming Trump for what happened was very self serving and short sighted of Cruz.
He, himself could have been the target of those protests, and he would certainly be if he were to take the lead. Going for some cheap political points rather than standing with Trump in that instance has pretty much made him toast.
And I was leaning toward Cruz.
