Anti-Donald Trump forces are expanding their offensive against the Republican front-runner, releasing a TV advertisement in Florida just days before the state's primary that spotlights a former Trump University salesman who says he was "ashamed" to work for the online school.
In the 60-second ad, the employee, named Cliff, describes receiving "nonstop calls with complaints" from customers unhappy with Trump University services. He also talks about the school's low ratings from the Better Business Bureau.
"I think I walked away from the job because I couldn't sleep at night," Cliff says. "With Donald Trump, you always have to read the fine print."
The commercial is being aired by American Future Fund, an outside conservative group that, along with several others, has been pummeling Trump on the TV airwaves. The group will spend more than $1 million for airtime. Trump University has become a focal point of attacks against the businessman, with Marco Rubio and other rivals citing it as evidence that Trump is a "con man."
Outside groups have spent more than $10 million against Trump in Florida, a key state voting on Tuesday that awards its 99 delegates on a winner-take-all basis.
That’s BS and if anyone believes it, they’re just plain ignorant.
What I see, is actions speak louder than words.
Teds actions back up his words - CONSISTENTLY
Trumps...not so much.
Like I said, you choose who you choose. I’ve already chosen who I feel is best for this country, our constitution and our futures. Your attempt at discrediting Cruz based on lies, slander, misinformation and nothing burgers, does not change my mind on anything, but how I feel about Trump and his supporters.
Numbers dont lie.

I think that is what the plaintiffs are saying about “Trump University.”
Being that a state has rules for using the name "University" and Trump called his scam such a name, one has every right to think it was an University. Since by law the name meant something. If it didn't mean something why did Trump change it after switching states where the home office was to try and buy more time.
As far as nobody claiming it, just by default the name implies it. Trump University wasn't chosen to give the appearance of a scam for obvious reasons.
He asked them to fill out cards before they could get their completion certificate.
Did it say they had to be favorable to get the certificate?
Of course an instructor is going to ask that you fill it out favorably. Good grief. Does he have to tell them to fill it out negatively for you to be happy?
I mean this stuff just gets silly beyond words.
What happened there that is shady to you?
I guess when you drag a $100 Bill from a GOP-e PAC, you can get any one to do anything. Look, for the record, if you see my earlier posts I was supporting Senator Cruz. There have been too many missteps that really have highlighted for me that he is not ready for Prime Time. I do not like to have the pontificators and prognosticators telling me how to vote; and I especially do not like reading this constant barrage of negative articles being posted repeatedly; often with the same news article attached with a variant on how disgusting Mr. Trump is as a candidate.
Senator Cruz will end up electing Mrs. Clinton by his ambitious grasping for the brass election ring. If Mr. Trump is unelectable, then based on the recent primary results, Senator Cruz will meet the same fate.
Once you have bought in it is very hard to admit you were scammed.
“If you thought it was a credited University, youre too dumb to start with. No one has ever claimed that.”
Trump did by calling his thing “Trump University.” Students who were damaged by the false claim should be made whole.
Hillary Clinton sold our intelligence secrets for money and everyone’s mad about Trump U.
Isn’t Obamaland great?
If I was a liberal politician, I’d be smiling in every picture too. :)
None of Trumps courses are approved or required.
Cliff’s an isomniac.
Insomniac.
So I’ve been they your short posting history.
You seem to support Rubio.
You’re pro immigration, and employ people from Central America for domestic services.
“those who consume their services benefit. for example, my honduran housekeeper has a BF from el salvador whos willing to shovel my two-car driveway for 15 bucks...better value than doing it myself and throwing out my back”
You took the gov’t side regarding Bundy, questioning why anyone sided with him.
Basically, you’re a GOP troll.
The Company was an LLC. That’s the name they chose. There is no such rule for the use of the word University. He changed it because he basically got blackmailed into it by the judge.
“NYS requires and approves these courses in order for me to renew my Professional License.”
That is part of the problem. By naming his scheme “Trump University” Trump implied it was an actual university, when by New York law it was not.
Students believed Trump’s claims - I mean who wouldn’t believe Trump - and later realized they were damaged. Now students want to be made whole.
No, it wasn’t a scam. It was an opportunity for those willing to work extraordinarily hard to succeed.
The seminars occurred before the real estate collapse, especially when Manhattan was gentrifying at a fast pace and when many people wanted to learn how to get into the business of taking old buildings and fixing them up, or starting new construction.
You overlook two persons in the Ad against Trump, that they made glowing declarations about the seminar series, it’s on record with the court. This is the reason the cases have stalled in the court because the plaintiff lawyers can’t get their cases together to go to court. Donald talked about it just a few days ago here:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QqfsbQGPLAE
And here’s ‘Kevin’s Ad’ paid for by the PACs against Trump. Kevin gave 5 stars to the seminar series, now he’s trying to say it was all a scam:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KcOLbCm2joo
So ask yourself, are you casting your lot with the liars who are being used to paint Trump as a scammer? Yes, you are with them.
In one case there was a total of SIX plaintiff individuals, two who have since withdrawn and one who wants to withdraw. They can’t hold up under scrutiny of defense lawyers in depositions where they are faced with their own glowing assessments of the course’s instructors. That leaves THREE remaining plaintiffs from a pool of 30,000 who attended. It boils down to a few losers who didn’t put in the amount of work and display the perseverance it takes to achieve success. It also points to the real estate collapse starting in 2008 where even the most successful in the business took severe losses. Donald Trump is not responsible for the real estate collapse that was brought on by the financial and banking collapse. I know personally of several real estate agents and brokers who made millions in the 1990s and 2000s whose business trickled to a slow crawl after 2008. They are not blaming anyone except for Wall St. and their mortgage backed security schemes.
Very few people succeed in real estate. It takes an incredible amount of work to build oneself as a brand in the that industry.
The case is political. The judge in the case is Hispanic (appointed by Obama) and hates Trump because of Trump’s strong position in calling to build a wall on the border.
Bull, a honest person would hand you a form and not require you sign it and not suggest it be filled out in any manner other than honest.
Also to hand out some pre-filled out forms for you to sign is so far out of the realm of decor that it doesn't need explanation.
Again, here is what the AG lawsuit said.
"Trump University instructors also asked that students complete evaluations in order to receive their Certificates of Competition for the course and 'pleaded for a favorable rating so that 'Mr. Trump would invite [them] back to do other retreats.' Mentors compelled students to complete the non-anonymous evaluations in their presence, filled out the forms themselves or pressured students into giving them higher scores or completing the evaluations before they had an opportunity to see if Trump University's promises would be fulfilled."
The lawsuit said some people said if you give the course a good rating, we might invite you to a special retreat (I guess where they hoped they would be wined and dined and given special insider information to make them rich).
These people were con-men through and through. High pressure salesmen not hired because of their knowledge of real estate, but for their ability to get people to fork over more money. Of which, Trump got a whopping 25%.
I am not exempting that people should be wiser with their money, but everyone of us knows family members that are susceptible to these con men, especially more elder family members.
