Just landed into Dubai picked up the Ferrari! Don't worry I wont speed ;)
This was the last message posted by Toronto-based boxer Cody Nixon, posing with a yellow Ferrari, before that fateful crash that killed the Canadian national in a high-speed crash with three others.
According to Dubai Police, the rented supercar rammed into a lamppost and split into two in the neigbhourhood of Jumeirah Lakes Towers.
Three Europeans and a Canadian were killed when their rented Ferrari rammed into a power pole and split into two in a high-speed crash in Dubai on Sunday.
The three Europeans, including a woman, and the Canadian were in the speeding car in Jumeirah Lakes Towers area although the car is designed for seating two passengers.
Dubai Traffic Police Chief Colonel Saif Al Mazroui said the motorists were driving at high speed even as the speed limit in the area is 60kmph.
The three Europeans died on the spot due to impact of the crash while the Canadian suffered from serious injuries and was taken to hospital. He died later, Col. Al Mazroui said.
He stated the incident occurred in the early hours of Sunday morning, when the driver lost control of the Ferrari, which was being driven over the speed limit. The car veered off the road and hit the pavement before hitting lamppost on the street, causing the car to split break into two halves.
He noted that the force of the collision threw all three outside the car. He said police have contacted the car rental firm to determine the exact speed of the car at the time of the accident.

Obviously a graduate of the Paul Walker School of Driving.
They had to be pretty slim folks. It’s definitely a two seater, maybe a driver, two in the pass seat and one scrunched behind?

They are not resolving.
Maybe it is my firewall?
You left out: “and do not have anywhere near the driving skills to even park the damn things.”
I died the same way.
Back in 1985 I just bought an IROC Z-28 Camaro. It was pretty sporty and fast as hell. So on morning I get a phone call from my best friend who was a Kennewick Police Officer and told me to meet him at this towing yard.
Inside the fence was the remains of another IROC Z-28 that had just went under the bumper and out the back tires of one of those old flat nose semi-trucks the night before. The car had five occupants (2 guys,3 girls who had been in town drinking it up before heading back to Hermiston Oregon) and 4 of them were decapitated and the 5th was dead too but because of the 2 others in the back seat laid on top of her, she didn’t lose her head.
The truck was there too and I don’t know how they squeezed under the front bumper that was only about 1 foot off the ground. The cops estimated that the Z was going over 100mph around a tight curve and slid over into the oncoming truck’s lane.
There was still pieces of brain matter and flesh on the front of the truck and inside the flattened car and of course blood was every where. I remember walking around the car and thinking the only salvageable part was a rear tail light lens.
Ugly story, but educational.
Or sufferers of Ryan Dunn Disease.
Sorry about that but didn’t know how to tell the story without the graphic details. I’ve seen fatal accidents but that was the worst.
We had a recent wreck locally where 3 of 4 kids in a Mustang were killed. The only one wearing seat belts survived. I teach a confirmation class at church and used that story to try and accomplish the same thing.
very funny and “urban”
As a teen we piled 11 of us in a Ford Maverick for a lunch run. Another time we squeezed 6 of us in the front seat of a Cadillac (the back seat was already full of items).
Not comfortable, but it can be done.
You still look good though.
Play stupid games...
“I can’t imagine what a Bugatti would be like......”
Nor I. I did once drive a BMW that had been prepared and raced by BMW, but I’m sure that was nothing in comparison.
I think thats how they got um out
Love Sue she cracks me up
Paul Walker was a passenger
