Just landed into Dubai picked up the Ferrari! Don't worry I wont speed ;)
This was the last message posted by Toronto-based boxer Cody Nixon, posing with a yellow Ferrari, before that fateful crash that killed the Canadian national in a high-speed crash with three others.
According to Dubai Police, the rented supercar rammed into a lamppost and split into two in the neigbhourhood of Jumeirah Lakes Towers.
Three Europeans and a Canadian were killed when their rented Ferrari rammed into a power pole and split into two in a high-speed crash in Dubai on Sunday.
The three Europeans, including a woman, and the Canadian were in the speeding car in Jumeirah Lakes Towers area although the car is designed for seating two passengers.
Dubai Traffic Police Chief Colonel Saif Al Mazroui said the motorists were driving at high speed even as the speed limit in the area is 60kmph.
The three Europeans died on the spot due to impact of the crash while the Canadian suffered from serious injuries and was taken to hospital. He died later, Col. Al Mazroui said.
He stated the incident occurred in the early hours of Sunday morning, when the driver lost control of the Ferrari, which was being driven over the speed limit. The car veered off the road and hit the pavement before hitting lamppost on the street, causing the car to split break into two halves.
He noted that the force of the collision threw all three outside the car. He said police have contacted the car rental firm to determine the exact speed of the car at the time of the accident.

Video at site, but it's visually dark.
Had he reproduced, or did he win a Darwin?
Don’t put it into track mode.
How do you get 3 Europeans and one Canadian into a Ferrari?
I was wondering the same thing.
It seems like a very expensive way to remove just a single light pole.
Sorry to sound so cold-hearted but, idiots.
Man, I for one, refuse to buy a Ferrari now! I was just about to get one, too.
Half the man he use to be....
a cure for stupid is under research....due to be placed on market shelves....soon...
Carefully...
Even if I won the lottery, I’d never buy one. I rather die of natural causes if possible.
Posing like a bad@ss in a rented car.
Now that’s $17 gangsta. (google it)
How about one of those $2.6 million Bugattis?
Yup. And what about the media singling out the “including one woman”, wth does that have to with anything?!?
Man people rent or own these monsters without a clue how to handle them
Nope. I wouldn’t buy any light vehicle made after 1986.
Back in 1968 I spun out in a blizzard.
I was driving a 1949 Chevy.
No damage, no injuries.
