In my opinion this vanity sucks. I rate it a -5.

Hopefully your opus will be more entertaining.

Best post of the day. Of course I just woke up, opened FR with my first cup of coffee, and clicked on your post because it was the first one I saw.

Now off to the rest of the world.

Out of respect, can’t we stop calling these threads “Vanitys” and instead call them “Denise Katrina Matthews’”?

I come here for the vanities. I thought the news stories were just springboards for the comments.

I’m trying to decide should i cook up some eggs and maybe green peppers or should i just make a quick bowl of cornflakes...
I quit coffee the other day the caffeine has been driving me nuts.
Looks to be a boring day, maybe i’ll go out for a walk this morning if it’s warm enough outside.
Do you like Def Leppard? I thought they were a pretty cool band back in the 80’s.

Here’s a cool video of 3 hot German chicks singing about farm animals...
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=C49NPmqEwK0&index=18&list=FLrKVkZd98w11JZtvd_bOpbg
Can’t decide which one i like the best.

Those poor German girls, i feel sorry for what their president is doing to them.

talk to you later

Oh man, I LOVE Def Leppard! I just saw someone’s tag in another thread that had the word “Armageddon” in it. So you KNOW “Armageddon It” started playing in my head.

Hands down, my favorite hair band of all time. One of my favorite bands, period.

One of my vivid memories is sitting in my buddies Ford Tempo parked in a Cape Cod motel parking lot CRANKING the Hysteria Album full blast.
Guy had the ultimate sound system, something like 3 giant amps, a Alpine head unit, kicker box and many other top notch speakers.
yea i loved that band too.
I’ve seen MANY concerts in my time but for some reason never saw Def Leppard.
Bummer

I’ve never seen them either. Hysteria was the height of their popularity and I was in jr. high in 1987 when that album came out—too young to go to a concert of theirs. Maybe if my parents had accompanied me, but I’d have died before being seen in public with either of my parents, lol. I had all their music, though, and posters on my wall (was in love with Joe Elliott), as well as the VHS tapes of “Historia” and “In the Round, in Your Face”. I even had the Hysteria sheet music book for busting out with the Def Leppard on the family piano or my flute or snare drum. (P.S. I wasn’t that good.)

I’ve had the opportunity to see them in the last decade, but have chosen not to do so...don’t want to ruin the magic that ran from High ‘n Dry through maybe Slang. “Here are all the songs you grew up loving...now performed by senior citizens!” Yeah, no thanks. I won’t buy their most recent albums either (and I believe they have a pretty new one) for the same reason.

No, to me Joe Elliott will always be wearing the white Hysteria t-shirt and shredded jeans from the Pour Some Sugar on Me live video (taken from In the Round, in Your Face). Times may change, but my memories of Def Leppard will not. I won’t let them. :)

This is a decent thread, after all, Radix. I’m upgrading it from a -5 to a -2. You can thank mowowie and Def Leppard for that. Also me. You’re welcome.

Now, I’m off to crank up some Def Leppard while I get ready for church!
