BROOKLYN CENTER, Minn. (KMSP) - At least two people were injured in a shooting outside the Foot Locker in Brooklyn Center, Minn. Saturday morning. Brooklyn Center police believe the shooting was over a pair of the newly-released Michael Jordan shoes.

The shooting occurred just after 10 a.m. in the parking lot outside the store at 1580 Shingle Creek Parkway.

Brooklyn Center police confirmed two men were shot. The victims sustained non-life threatening injuries.

More news to follow. :>) If the “target” was indeed being robbed of his new sneaks and shot back, good for him. But, another unanswered question is, what are the ages of those involved. Gun free zone? I know there are plenty of stores and malls that have the ‘no guns allowed skull and crossbones’ posted.

Yeah, I understand that Air Jordan’s have “extra lace eylets!” As a consequence, they are going to be reclassified as Assault Tennis Shoes, and they will be “illegal to possess” for any member of the AA “community” who are under 30. And you can’t put “bullet button” closures in the extra holes to make them legal to own. Of course there will be a Law Enforcement Exemption.
