GAINING ATTENTION these days is the idea of abolishing high denominations of the dollar and the euro. This concept graphically displays the astonishing stupidity-and intellectual bankruptcy-of today's liberal economic policymakers and the economics profession. Larry Summers, a former Treasury Secretary and Harvard president, is pushing the U.S. to ban $50 and $100 bills. There's a lot of chatter, too, about prohibiting the 500 note. The ostensible reason is to help in the fight against terrorists, bribers, drug dealers and tax evaders by making it more inconvenient for these bad guys to move around and store their ill-gotten cash........ If the Obama Administration really wants to deny resources to terrorists, why is it giving tens of billions of dollars back to the globe's terrorism central, Iran? The real reason for this war on cash-start with the big bills and then work your way down-is an ugly power grab by Big Government. People will have less privacy: Electronic commerce makes it easier for Big Brother to see what we're doing...

Big government overreach will eventually cause revolt that won’t be so pleasant for big government.
They will control food, water, electricity, natural gas and gasoline/diesel. Debit/Credit/Phone pay.
The Antichrist will force those who want to buy or sell to take the eternally-damning Mark of the Beast, 666.
High denomination? Hardly. The real “high denomination” bills, the $500 and $1000, were removed from circulation a long time ago.
I think it already is (Trump).
They are working their way down. and it will cross over to controlling purchases next.
Satan needs to be able to control the planet in a very short time period. He is panicking- you can feel it. Things are literally going to hell quick.
It’s also a precursor to NIRP, negative interest rates.
Cashless leads to confiscation of wealth out of an electronic account. NIRP will cause accounts to go to physical cash, hence the need to do away with physical cash and replace with cashless accounts.
Because of inflation, they should be printing lots of $500 bills.
A hundred dollar bill is only equivalent to $20 when I was a kid.
Yes, and there needs to be much wider public awareness and pushback against this kind of financial repression and stealth wealth transfers from savers to the big banks and to freedom- and wealth-stealing governments. It is absolutely an attempt to further restrain rights pertaining to private property, life, liberty and the free pursuit of happines. Outrageous.
The end game: Take away the cash, control and monitor ALL transactions. The only people that would agree with would be tyrants...
It’s a violation of privacy to get rid of cash.
It is not the governments business what we buy. Maybe how much we make so they can tax the hell out of it, but what we buy and where is none of their business.
If they get rid of cash the biggest black market known to history will crop up.
Imagine, making bartering illegal. Such as Ma Jones got thrown in the federal pen for trading 10 chickens for a pig. Seriously, if something similar ever happens it will be pure tyranny. The most heavily armed citizens in the world just might put an end to it.
The reason: This overbearing, out-of-control government wants to tax us, they want to track us, the want to control us, and they want to subjugate us.
Let’s keep the $50 and $100 bills, and bring back the $500, $1,000, $5,000 and $10,000 bills as well.
If this stinkin’ government was serious about fighting drug dealers and terrorists, they would seal our southern border and they sure as hell would not allow any muslims to come here to settle.
To suggest there is inflation is a very uninformed remark. Want proof? Just ask the fed govt, that’s why there have been no SS COLA’s the last few years, and those that did come were rather small.
Isn’t it ironic that drug dealers/users, tax evaders, prostitutes and johns comprise the chief defense of cash and resistance to the one world digital currency.
One would think that silver will soon become very popular.
Not every country will be content with falling into line with the NWO banksters digital world when there is so much money to be made by people that want to use cash.
No cash, no ability to earn income under the table easily and spend it freely.
Even a Lefty colleague at work thinks that abolishing cash is nuts and “some kind of plot.”
He knows his time is short. The end is getting closer.
