A long-time political insider just made a bombshell announcement about conservative Senator Ted Cruz (R-TX), who is running for President.
This Republican operative, who has worked on 9 different presidential cycles, couldn’t keep it quiet any longer after being in talks with key leaders of Cruz’s and Senator Marco Rubio’s (R-FL) campaigns.
The insider is Roger Stone. He once worked for Donald Trump, and passed along his report to a popular radio host that Cruz used a high-priced attorney to confidentially request that Rubio’s team promise Cruz a Supreme Court appointment in exchange for Cruz exciting the race. This is in addition to recent reports that the candidates’ wives have been in contact, discussing why someone dropping out is essential.

If Cruz were be named to the Supreme Court, that would be more important than him being the President for the good of the nation.

For one thing if the Democrats know of this deal they’ll circle the wagons and filibuster Cruz till Haley’s Comet comes back.

Except such a plan assumes ALL Cruz’s votes go to Rubio. They won’t.

So let me get this straight, Cruz is a sleaze because someone on his staff spread rumors that Carson was dropping out of the race in Iowa.
Now Trump’s agent is doing the same thing to Cruz before Super Tuesday. What does that make Trump?

A google search reveals this Roger Stone as very anti-Cruz and pro Trump. I did not look in great detail, but that is the general impression. This is spite. It is not based on any media report or anything. Spite and dishonesty.
