Either Donald Trump suffers from memory loss or he is completely lying about his healthcare plans.
During Thursday night's debate Ted Cruz simply asked Trump, "True or false, you said the government should pay for everyone's healthcare?"
Trump emphatically denied, claiming the accusation was completely false. To those watching who have been keeping up with this election cycle, the claim seemed dubious.

I agree on healthcare. The Rubio and Cruz attack on Trump for specifics in his plan is way off the mark. It’s a great sound bite which is why they’re doing it but the fundamental issue is that government shouldn’t have any plan. Obamacare is government run healthcare and its a disaster. It is destroying what once was the greatest system in the world. Any government plan is a mistake.
After last night I despise Trump so much that I cannot see myself voting for him.
Maybe I can talk myself into it if I binge watch tapes of Hillary for a few hours.
What an opportunity we had this time....

I watch Trump’s rallies and town halls on youtube all the time, where he doesn’t get interrupted and asked out of context ‘true or false’ questions. His position on healthcare is always stated clearly: 1. he will repeal ObamaCare and replace it with a much better plan. 2. He would remove the prohibition to compete across state lines which causes monopolies and price protection. Healthcare costs and premiums would be reduced significantly as a result. 3. It would be privatized. 4. There will always be some people at the extremely low income brackets that could not afford private plan. These people would be covered by a government paid plan because he will not leave people dying on the sidewalks.
He says the same things every single time and it is also stated almost verbatim on his web site. Unless someone like Cruz is doing his interruption lawyer prosecution BS and ignoring Trump’s answers, this should be clear to all that his plan is for private health insurance with vigorous competition across state lines, with an exception for the very poorest, who would otherwise be “dying in the streets”.
Following the debate Bret Bier and MK did a “fact check” where they shamelessly cut & pasted short sound bites and selectively rearranged them into a montage of Trump saying he would have a much better plan and the government would pay for it.
As I said, I have listened to Trump’s statements in context and unabridged so I know full well what liars BB and MK are and what a shameless lawyer/liar Cruz is.
Several years ago on Rush I began to hear about this wonderful Reagan conservative, Ted Cruz, and I was so excited and couldn’t wait to see him speak. Since then it has been one long string of disappointments - he’s a shyster lawyer who will say anything to win his case and last night’s performance took the cake.
I see no proof of any lying on Trump’s part. I am not sure how to prove something that does not exist. And quit calling me big boy, it sounds a little queer.

Illegal immigration means a great deal to me, apparently you have trouble understanding me that I don’t believe a word that comes out of The Donald’s mouth and I believe we will be as likely to end up with amnesty from Trump as Rubio. Your not paying attention, Senator Cruz did NOT endorse Rubio’s or anyone’s amnesty he simply said Rubio would be a better President than Trump, NOT that Rubio would be a good President. Trump has a mental and personality disorder, how can you not see that?

Here is an article with some information about Planned Parenthood the organization that Trump has described as doing some wonderful things. Planned Parenthood is an evil organization founded by an evil woman, Margeret Sanger, who was a big fan of the Nazi’s. It has been devoted to abortion and eugenics throught its history.
To defend planned parenthood in any way is like defending the Nazi’s for the great road system that Hitler built.
