In all seriousness, those who have had to endure what I've had these last few days can understand.

I had retinal reattachment surgery on Monday. I noticed the symptoms of a detached retina last Thursday. I went to a very fine retinal specialist on Monday morning; they operated that afternoon.

The "buckle" holds the retina in place as it heals, I'm not too sure what the bubble is about, but I'm off work for 2 weeks while recovering.

Here is some info to look up about a detached retina, if interested.

The worst part? I must stay face down for one week. That includes sleeping. On my stomach.

Sorry to hear that you have to deal with it but follow the instructions!!!!

I would be telling my wife that I have to lay on a horseshoe pillow and have a two hour back rub to go to sleep every night.
