I felt just like you after Mitt overtook Newt four years ago. I was down in the dumps about that for a good long time.
This time is different. Trump is a thousand times better an individual than Mitt was, and will do great things for our country, if elected.

As far as getting a majority vote, you know that doesn't happen in a primary until the very end, and sometimes not even then. It doesn't work that way unless your party has no bench, like the Dems.

I don’t think we would have had nearly as many voters sit out the election if Newt had been the nominee. We might have even won.
Like Trump, he had warts, but he was the best of the bunch.
