Hello everyone,
Let me be the first to say i don't agree with some of the ideas of the GOP candidates, but i want to try to understand your standing on some issues. I hope we can keep it civil. Here are some points i want your input: 1.) When i hear the phrase "fewer regulation" from the GOP presidential candidates that are taking money from the Koch brothers there is the image of toxic waste being poured into the river and finding its way to the tap in your house. What do you understand by fewer regulations and why do you approve it? 2.) Do you know that the TPP has only 5 chapters that have anything to do with trade (out of 30) and the rest are basically overriding the law and ensuring that a corporation could take to court the state for following environmental and tax regulations. These are private courts where decisions are often made by employees of the same corporations. Do you support such trade agreements and why cause I'm not hearing anything from the candidates about the TPP? 3.) Do you think that campaign contributions from industries have effect in policy standings of the presidential candidates (on both sides) and why?
You just signed up to post this?
Taking money from someone means nothing unless there is a quid pro quo. Example: Hillary. There is nothing wrong unless the candidate does specific favors in turn for the money.
Welcome to FR.
Fewer regulation means just that.
Here is one that is total BS. You must post a poster stating minimum wage. What a crock. If you dont know minimum wage you are just stupid.
Here is another. You must use a three hundred pound duty ladder. Have you ever tried moving one yourself. They weight a ton. Just another good way to hurt your back if you work alone. I got into a fight with a OSHA guy about that because I was using a 225 pound ladder when I weight 185. The most I carry up a ladder is about 10 pounds. Any more and it could throw you off balance.
How about this. A low flow shower head. Takes a lot longer to shower if you cant rinse your hair quickly.
Then there are the regulations on light bulbs. My wife cant do floro bulbs because of the flickering. Not that LEDs are out not as much of a problem.
It has nothing to do with the Koch brothers but more to do with the fact that the government wants to decide what is good for me. They need to stay out of my life and let me make basic choices as to what is best for me.
Not aware that any of the presidential candidates are receiving funds from the Koch brothers, you pinko. Perhaps I am mistaken.
Be that as it may, there is probably a wide dispersion
in the opinions on the proper use of Government and regulation here,
loosely following the Libertarian/Conservative bent of the individual posters
IBTZ.
DU.
Bye bye.
I smell ozone!
You just outed yourself as a liberal troll with your wording. Welcome to FR.
It is customary to inject your thoughts into the conversation at this time, or frequently your opinions and positions will be assumed for you, sometimes in spectacularly derogatory terms
Sophie? Is that you? Go back to class and quit messing around on Free Republic, or I’ll tell your parents.

Yep. Koch Brothers Derangement Syndrome apparent right off the bat.
A shower runs for AN HOUR, the water goes out as gray water to the earth to be filtered and recycled ... OR ... goes into a system that re-collects it, treats it and sends it back to the shower ...
NOTHING WASTED
The shower runs for FIVE MINUTES, the water goes out as gray water to the earth to be filtered and recycled ... OR ... goes into a system that re-collects it, treats it and sends it back to the shower ...
NOTHING WASTED
Hmmm, then the Viking Kitties may well soon assume their appointed roles
That was my first thought too. When I signed up, I had to wait a week before I could post anything. This guy starts right off with left wing agitprop about the "Koch brothers"?
Koch brothers?...buh bye
