According to Cain, the Trump phenomenon can be summed up in three words: "Leadership, fighter and winner."
Cain, the former Republican presidential candidate, says the "Trump phenomenon" is so powerful that black women are leaving the Democratic Party to support Trump, a current Republican presidential candidate.
Cain might not be that far off base, at least according to political consultant Frank Luntz, who told the online Politico page recently that Trump has a good chance of winning the black vote should he win the Republican nomination.
"If he were the Republican nominee, he would get the highest percentage of black votes since Ronald Reagan in 1980," says Luntz.
"They find him fascinating, and in all the groups I have done, I have found Obama voters, they could've voted for Obama twice, but if they're African American they would consider Trump."

I'll go put on my fire suit now.
Like the comments but don’t trust Luntz and Cain is a question for me.
It’s the same reason he’s going to actually attract hispanic votes.
They don’t come from homosexualized cultures of weakness.
They are for better or worse traditional cultures, patriarchal, where the masculine figure is supposed to provide for the family...and the group if so appointed.
College Gay Boys don’t really get that...and that’s who populate the Rat party now.
Well, he did marry a Democrat.
Who knows the truth of the salacious allegations that came out about him. He didn’t fight them very hard because they were upsetting his wife. The way he (and she) acted says to me that he assured her that they were nonsense (probably a situation of some gals whom he was a monetary benefactor towards, whereupon they ginned up fantasies of more) and she believed him, but she didn’t want the salacious talk going on either and he agreed to discontinue the candidacy rather than subject her to that.
A classy move, if so.
It has nothing to do with homosexuals. It has everything to do with jobs and the economy.
Figuratively speaking... or as Donald’s fan put it, p*ssies.
logic here has all but disappeared. Cruz does better against Hillary than Trump in the MOST RECENT polls.
the same polls that predicted a trump victory in NH and were so touted here.
Now if there is such a big leap of dems to trump, he should be beating hillary by 8 or more. Alas, no such poll exists because no such voter exists.
We’ve forgotten overnight that dems vote for abortion, freebies and more freebies, and the rich paying more. and the rights of “dreamers” and “refugees”.
i know dozens of dems from work and other places. Not one, one, is changing their vote or even likes Trump
Independents, I think he has a chance with them.
But howcome these articles NEVER show a poll backing the BIG jump from dem to Trump?
no need to yell, just a few polls would do.
He’s remarkably personally un-blingy for his level of wealth. He wears a business suit that could probably be duplicated, as far as it looks from several feet away, at Sears.
He is no pimp daddy he has nice suits but they are nor flashy
That redneck rassler hasn’t even begun to tangle with Hillary (or Bernie) and probably doesn’t really intend to until the Dems sort out who will be “it.” No sense training the enemy.
We don’t live in the la-la land that Democrats do (sometimes we live in a DIFFERENT la-la land, but that’s a different story, it does not apply to what I am about to say). We know that if we had to describe both Trump and Hillary (the latter the Dem favorite) in one word, it would probably be Truth and Lies respectively. Lies look real good till Truth steps up. I kind of pity Hillary.
Yep, he’s not the Italian lizard suit kind. Plain old red power tie. If we wanted to dress like Trump, like I said, Sears would suffice.
I'm a Cruz supporter, but if Trump gets the nomination, he is going to win in a blowout.
It would probably be the most lopsided election in US History.
And I’d chortle every day from then until America’s best known boss says at 12:01 PM on inauguration day “Barack, you’re fired!” And even if he doesn’t, dozens of newspapers will....
A Trump-headed presidency would be kind of crude in a way. He’s still got that worldly redneck part of him. But insincere, it would not be. And yes, I DO think he would take good advice, furnished coherently. What Jeff Sessions has done with Trump in regards to guns, others will doubtless do on other topics. Perfect or even consistent with his earlier campaign, no. Something pretty good, yes.
We could do worse.
he he ;) but didn’t he bang white women...i may be wrong...probably whatever presented herself!
hillary will lose a lot of women to Trump that would stay with her for the wannabees. Most women AREN'T femnazis. They'll choose the Alpha Male over the shrill crone.
I’m frankly wishing that Cruz could actually uncork his Christianity... yes I mean it. He’s uncorked his religion. But that isn’t the same thing.
Christianity would blow by the worldly Trump like a rocket ship past a car. There would be NO mistake about what has happened. Unfortunately we’ve never really seen this happen in American history. A lot of religious presidents, no really Christian one. Trump might be the closest thing to truth in packaging, with respect to spiritual things, that we’ve had.
Hillary has virtually no charm left... she just stands there and damns the women who aren’t lockstepping with her yesteryear schtick.
When that faces the Trump buzz saw (I think it will) we will think of how Dorothy splashed water on the Wicked Witch of the West.
