Picture taken Nov. 15, 2009, in Sanibel, Florida in the Andrews home at fundraiser they hosted for Marco Rubio, when nobody gave Rubio any chance to defeat Charlie Crist. Phyllis Schlafly made a special trip to Florida, at Pat Andrew's request, to headline the event.
Phyllis Schlafly is a retired American constitutional lawyer, conservative activist, author, and speaker and founder of the Eagle Forum. She has led the conservative movement for 50 years. Schlafly came to national attention when millions of copies of her self-published book, A Choice, Not an Echo, were distributed in support of Goldwater's 1964 presidential campaign.
Phyllis Schlafly was the first major conservative to endorse Marco Rubio for US Senator over Governor Charlie Crist.
Yesterday Phyllis Shlafly said freshman Senator Marco Rubio should be disqualified from the presidential race for lying to conservatives in English and saying something entirely different on Spanish language television.
Schlafly released a 15 page "Rubio Betrayal Memo" Friday to denounce Rubio's actions as US Senator. Check Eagle Forum for updates.
The memo begins with this-

I didn’t notice that (Because I still was very rarely listening to him then; Not doubting your word). I did hear him supporting Romney when it was obvious that he would be the nominee, but I figured it was just supporting the only alternative to 0bama.
Jim, is there anyway to make this happen? ..... “Stay front and center on FR as long as Rubio stays in the race”?
Rubio dancing topless ? What’s there not to understand. Did you get the links to his past history through FRmail yesterday ? Will forward it to you later today
Ah there we go your full of bs and I don’t believe you on anything now after that rant.
According to his website no endorsement for Rubio.

Cruz and trump
As long as it's not a GOPe tea party betraying amnesty pimp it doesn't bother me.
She certainly spoke very highly of trump but denied and got very angry when people said she endorsed trump.
That confused me, too. Rush doesn’t stay on top of things. He doesn’t really “do” Twitter. Information travels by the second, and he talks by the hour.
I guess Marco Rubio learned bilingual duplicity from Yasar Arafat.
No, she didn’t. She spoke well of him, but did not “endorse” Trump.
A week or two ago, all of the Trump lovers were saying Thomas Sowell is a sellout and a has-been because he dared to question Trump. Now there are people saying Rush is dead to them because he said Rubio is conservative. Some people quote Glen Beck and Mark Levin and others trash them for it. And now we have a 110 post debate about Phyllis Schlafly and whether she supports Trump or not. Can we please get to the point where we can listen to the opinions of our conservative elders and feel free to agree or disagree with them without having to think they sold us out?
When I have conversations with people about politics, and they ask me who I’m for, I tell them, but follow up with, “but I will support any of them that can beat Hillary.”
This silly notion that unless someone is perfect in your eyes then you’ll just stay home and not vote is what got us Obama. Pull up your big boy pants and look at the big picture. NONE OF THEM ARE PERFECT. But any of them are a better choice for our future. The biggest question our next president will have is who to put on the Supreme Court. If we don’t have a Republican win, every 5-4 decision that went our way is GONE with one new liberal justice.
This needs to be given to the major networks. It is nice of us who already find Rubio not acceptable.
Actually, I was leaning Rubio several weeks ago, mostly because of the, deceit, fighting, idiocy and lack of policy coming from Trump and Cruz.
I did that, too. Bet we're not the only ones, either!
Thank you.
You should see it here in the liberal toilet bowl of New York city, you want to talk about politicians that despise? Read this: These past few years we’ve had a bunch of cops who were killed on the job thanks to the Marxist Mayor who encourages thugs. And when one cop was killed last year, who did the City council choose to honor? The cop? No, they chose to honor the communist spy Ethel Rosenberg.........

And when cops were up for a raise, what did the City council choose to pay them? 1! A One percent freakin raise...

Guess what the city council voted for themselves? A 32% raise! THIRTY TWO percent for a part time job where they sit on their ass.........

Best post I’ve read all morning..and over the past few days. I AM extremely p.o.’d. that National review put together an entire issue devoted to trashing a candidate on our side before a single vote had been cast. I want the best candidate and still haven’t made up my mind. I want someone who can win the general election. McCain and Romney were not it. Whoever gets into office will be nominating several Supremes. That is huge. And absolutely cannot let that decision fall to the Left.
She supports Trump!
And as weak as the Roberts court is - a left-majority court would be a horror show. We will all be living on a virtual left-run-amuck college campus. We would get codified thought-crime / hate-speech rules, mandatory diversity quotas in every aspect of life, monetary reparations, the end of any immigration enforcement, federal harassment of dissenting groups, and the full-throttle spread of Islamic rules for the workplace, schools, etc. All of Obama's temporary transgressions against liberty would become permanent and set in law.
OTOH, Rubio's immigration policies are exactly the same as Clinton's, despite some cosmetic lies. He would continue to replace Americans with huge population transfers from the third world into our homeland, guaranteeing the end of political conservatism in the USA, along with the end of anything particularly American about our homeland.
Rubio and Clinton both represent the end of our country. Rubio, however, would provide court picks that might delay some of the worst parts of the crash for another decade or so.
