SANTA CLARA, Calif., Jan. 31 (UPI) -- Denver may be closer to San Francisco than Charlotte, but there is no home field advantage in the Super Bowl.
It's a good thing that the Levi's Stadium grounds crew has two weeks to prepare for the Feb. 7 contest, because it goofed on its end zone paint jobs over the weekend.
Multiple reporters and media outlets snapped pictures of the snafu, which featured the Denver Broncos logo and team name painted in both end zones. One of those end zones belongs to the Carolina Panthers.
Luckily, the grounds crew eventually caught the mistake and painted one of the end zones black, with a blue Panthers logo and name.

See the faint remains of 'BRONCOS' in the end zone? Grounds crew painted the logo on the wrong side. #SuperBowl50 pic.twitter.com/Jzy060MCzO â James Martin (@Jamesco) January 26, 2016
Super Bowl 50 kicks off at 6:30 p.m. Sunday in Santa Clara. The game will air on CBS.
How come all the end zone pictures are just the Broncos for #SB50? Because someone painted the wrong end zone. pic.twitter.com/mLsuc8LBk8 â Samuel Lam (@SamuelYLam) January 27, 2016
H1B’ers?
Maybe they’re thinking that’s the only way the Broncos are getting in the end zone.
Ground crews are still getting used to expansion teams...
Great googly moogly!
They were obviously soccer fans.....................
-Maybe theyâre thinking thatâs the only way the Broncos are getting in the end zone.-
If they’re last trip is any indication, I’d say that would be an accurate statement.
Salt Lake City should have a NFL team..................what would they call them?..................
(Well, the ground crew knows the Broncos are going to be essentially pitching tents in both end zones as the quarters / direction-changes goes by)
