Dubai: Obama has just got a new home in Dubai.
"He definitely has a personality you can't ignore," said Emily Ann Herbert, a 30-year-old Australian who signed him in on Monday night. "He commands attention and knows exactly what he wants."
But no, she's not talking about the US President here. Obama is her new pet, an abandoned Persian cat she has rehomed.
Put up for adoption by Dubai-based animal group Friends of Animals, Obama was high-strung and temperamental, but he had little difficulty finding a new home, thanks to his illustrious name.
"Yes, I took him in because of his name. There was something about his face too," said Emily.
Montserrat Martin of Friends of Animals, who christened the cat, said with everyone talking about the US elections, Obama was the first name that came to her mind. "There are thousands of cats looking for homes and we need to constantly reinvent with their names to get them noticed," she said. As it emerges, the one-year-old cat was found abandoned in Jumeirah. "We're not sure from where he came. But he is castrated, has a microchip and is fully vaccinated," said Montserrat who brought him home and posted an adoption ad on a community website.

That doesn't make sense.
The cat is narcissistic, high-strung, demanding of attention, wants to be pampered, howls when it doesn’t get its way, and will scratch your eyes out if crossed. The only way the cat differs from its namesake is the cat is castrated...and even then, I’m not so sure.
There is chatter on the wire to that end.
No it wasn’t RoosterRedux. The “rumor” began on Sorcha Faal...with Sorcha Faal one never knows the total truth of anything.
Especially considering that it looks like Rear Adm. Rick Williams was removed from his position due his comments about military security and intelligence personnel being used for a "Obama house hunting mission".
Is Barack Obama buying this Dubai mansion?
Right wing American sites and Twitter were both abuzz yesterday with news that Barack Obama is in the process of buying a Palm Jumeirah mansion.
It's all very unsubstantiated, and has since been widely discredited, but they claimed that a report circulating in the Kremlin today (the Russian parliament) states that one of the US Navy's top commanders, Rear Admiral Rick Williams, was relieved of his post after he queried why Navy forces had been sent to Dubai on a "Obama house hunting mission".
Official sources say the Admiral was fired due to misuse of his work computer.
Anyway, those who believe the Admiral's dismissal was due to his comment on Barack Obama's househunting say the President has purchased a Dhs18 million seaside luxury villa in the UAE. Again, this is not at all confirmed, but they even go so far as linking to the particular house.
They say it's the below yellow mansion on the Palm Jumeirah that Obama is buying (although the house's listing says it's still for sale).
We spoke to Shaun Garratt of Ocean View Real Estate, the agent on the house's listing. He wouldn't confirm or deny whether Barack Obama was interested in, or indeed purchasing, the house.
It originated at beforeitsnews.com, which is not exactly a fount of rock-solid info.
Sounds like a cover or fodder for late night “comedians” so by next week all the brain-dead Hussein Heads will remember is that Obama the CAT has a “home” in Dubai.

I’ve been following the rumor since Sunday; you’re right, this could be the source.
I confess I’m a little disappointed since it would have explained some of the bewilderment I’ve felt trying to understand this psychological and spiritual train wreck.
Somebody posted an aerial photo of the development. Even Mooch and Obama—the most undignified and tasteless individuals to ever occupy the Whitehouse—would have passed. Gitmo seems inviting in comparison.
Come to think of it, maybe that’s where they should put the current tenants when(if) they close Gitmo.
I think they are trying to distract us from the true story.
It would make sense that Obama would buy in Dubai. He said he would stand with the Muslims.
